You're doing a fantastic job!!! Yay for you!!! :D
Yeah, and I know you're sooooooo disappointed about a whole new wardrobe. LOL

I think that the WW system can work, but it does take determination, which I have right now:D But I would never be able to do it without the support of all of you who keep leaving the nicest comments here for me, so thank you!

Breakfast: 1 piece of rye toast with margarine 2pts
Snack: 1 boiled egg 2pts
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich on white with margarine 3pts

DQ you are doing awsome with WW. I heard it was expensive to join so I havent looked in to it. Are you happy with it?

Its cool how you are able to work the pepsi in there!!!

I joined the online site for a month to try it out...it is pretty expensive for the first month, because you have to pay the sign up fee as well as the first month. But after that, I can pay for 6 months at a time and it's about the same price as going to the meetings, and I don't have to sit through anything!

I need my pepsi! I actually don't drink it all at one sitting; I buy a small bottle, and keep it in the fridge, taking a few sips here and there. It tricks my mind into thinking I'm constantly drinking it, but I'm not! It's working great!:D

WW is just counting calories only dividing the numbers by like 100 (or thereabouts)
Its so much cheaper to just get a fitday account or something similar and work it out yourself :D (no disrespect to anyone on WW or WW meant, just an observation)

Hey dari keep up the good work. How do you know how many points
are for something not weightwatcher's? Just nosey like that lol!I love
so far calorie counting which at this point I don't have to read lables
to much because I know whats in them and if I need to go double check
on something I don't eat that often I have it written down as well
as in my diary on here. But wishes compared it to calorie counting
and I was wondering how easy is it to follow?Good luck your almost
there Tammy

WOW DQ!! You doing a fantastic job!! Congrats on that first piece of chocolate in a month!!! ;)

Have a DIVALICIOUS day!!
[/B]

Hello! Looks like the WW is working for you. The "activity points" are interesting. Seems like an easy way to keep track w/o spending too much time counting things. You're doing great. Thanks for all your support.

Tammy, just like Fitday, etc has a list of foods you can look up, WW has a huge list of all foods you can choose from. I can't even buy WW foods/snacks up here! It is basically the same as counting calories. My favorite thing about it is the recipe builder. I can quickly add my own recipe to the database, enter the ingredients, and it tells me how many points a serving. It's just a little quicker, that's all.

The activity points are pretty basic too, and I believe it's just based on calories burned as well. 20 minutes of a walk is 1 point, etc.

I don't know how long I'll keep it up; I may decide I'd rather spend the money on something else:D But for now, it's an easy way for me to get an idea of what and how much food I should be eating in a day. :)
