I think WW sounds like a great tool to help you with watching the amount of food you eat as well as your caloric intake. Keep up the great work! It's obviously working!!

It seems like you're doing great. I have never done WW, so you'll have to keep me posted.
Keep working hard, it's worth it!

Thanks guys! You're all so upbeat, it would be hard NOT to stay motivated!:D

And Jelly, I've had 3 or 4 glasses of my water so far!!:D

I agree with m2m... do what ever works for you! as long as it is healthy and safe! Out of all of the diet programs out there, I would wager that WW is one of the most practical and healthy.

Hello Dariqueen,
WW sounds great!I am so inlove with thier desert's!!
Keep it up GF it is working for ya and they you are not deprived from
certain foods!Good luck and have a gr8 weekend!Tammy

Well, it's been a pretty good Thursday...I think I'm almost at my 2 lb loss, we'll see how the weekend goes. I'm going out of town with a friend tomorrow night, we'll probably order from Pizza Hut  I'll have to do a LOT of walking at Wal-Mart to make up for it!

So here's my total for today. Supper is just a guess, because someone else made the meatballs I had, and I sort of guessed at the points based on what I found in the food list.

Breakfast: granola bar and banana 4.5pts
Lunch: leftover spinich ravioli with margarine and bit of parmesan cheese, pepsi 7pts
Snack: juice box 2pts
Supper: 6 small meatballs/sweet and sour sauce, 3/4 cup minute rice 12.5pts
Snack: small apple with low-fat caramel dipping sauce 2pts

Total: 28/24 Used 4 flex points, but also got 2 activity points today.

I am embarrassed at the lack of veggies in my diet, but I REALLY don't like them:(

DQ, im the same with veges, I dont mind them but they are very samey. Probably my poor cooking habits with more than anything.

But the thing is ive noticed i loose heaps more when i eat more of them so ive started to eat them anyway :/

Half my meals are just meat + veges or light yogurts etc :D

hi buddie, thoes veggies are kinda hard to incoperate if you don't like them, my nephew who is 19 and hates veggies has decided that if you cook them in pam spray butter they are tolerable, just a suggestion:) personally i love most veggies but still i need to eat more of them, have you tried any of the weird veggies like eggplant, or asperagus (sp?) orthoes other non mainstream basic run of the mill veggies? You might find something that is not to bad if you experiment a little.:p keep up the good work and don't let the pizza get out of controll!!!!!!:D Later Daze STAR

I'm with you on the veggies...however, the weeks I'm "good" about eating them I seem to lose the weight faster. I just like fruit better!!

I'm going to try the odd recipe that I can mix up a little cooked veggie right into it...for example, I loved that spinich ravioli. I actually don't mind cooked red pepper either. What else can I sneak those two things into? :D

Do you like fajitas? What about chopped up bell pepper in turkey meat and you could make a turkey burger! Or meat loaf... Danny LOVES turkey meat loaf and I can chop up veggies really really small and sneak them into that!

mmm...I like the fajita idea. Also, does salsa count? My grandma puts salsa into chili and meatloaf, boy is it ever yummy!

I don't know... but there are veggies in salsa! Maybe if you made your own so you knew what was in it so you could count the calories or in your case the points! :)

mmm salsa, and also tomatos are one of those negative calorie type items (like most veges, they take more calories to digest than they have in them)
