Congrats on the 1.5... actually that is pretty awsome, and a healthy way to loose! Keep up the great work! I hope you have fun on your holiday!
 
Thanks guys! It should be fun, despite my nervousness. I'm only worried about snacking in the car. But I'm going to borrow a cooler, freeze a bunch of water bottles, and take fruit and other healthy snacks for the way. In Kamloops I should be okay, because my mom has wanted me to lose this weight since high school, so she will be making healthy meals, and we'll go for walks and stuff. I can't wait! I haven't been out of Manitoba in years!
 
Hello congrats for losing 1.5!Thats big and thing is you are losing losing losing!Keep up that good work and pack along some of those 100 calorie snack packs!They are handy for on the go.You are doing so good!Enjoy your journey with the kiddies it's always an adventure lol!Tammy:)
 
Tammy-those snack packs worry me...I might think because one pack is fairly low in calories, that I'll keep eating pack after pack:eek:

It's actually almost too hot to walk today, but we're going out to Wekusko Falls later this afternoon (my friend and her 2 kids and us) for a long walk around the campground, and then another turkey dog roast, minus the buns:D Maybe I'll earn another s'more!
 
I'm a little late to the party (lol) but congrats on the 1.5 pounds! I hope you all have a great time on the trip. Don't fret too much about the food, I'm sure you'll make sensible and healthy choices... and you'll probably do a lot of walking anyway so that'll help counter any snacks that "sneak" in. lol

Heidi, the turkey dogs are delicious! I haven't tried the low-fat ones (of course, they don't sell them here:mad: ), but these taste just like the regular ones, and have less calories!
 
Alright, here's my total for the day...I have a sore throat, and couldn't force myself to eat much today. So I'm still way too much short in points/calories. I want to work out after the kids go to bed...should I have a little snack before or after the workout?

Breakfast: 3/4 bowl Frosted Cheerios and skim milk 1.5pts
Lunch: a few bites of a Lean Cuisine thing, pepsi 4pts
Snack: 1/2 small apple, chocolate chip cookie 2pts
Supper: turkey dog, few baby carrots, 1.25 serving Kraft Dinner, ketchup 9pt

Total: 16.5/24 Which means I'm only at about 850 calories....
 
yea its probably a little low but with a sore throat everything is going to feel like tree bark going down. take care of yourself........
 
Sorry your not feeling too well. Remember to drink plenty of water and you will be on the mend in no time! These turkey dogs sound really good but I don't think we can get them in England - tut - we miss out on all the good stuff!

I have lost another pound! I am sooo loving this feeling! And now I'm so psyched to get out and walk more today! I still have 6 days until official weigh-in though, so no ticker change yet.

I can't wait until I can buy some new clothes. I have all these old jeans I haven't been able to wear in a long time, but I've tried pulling them on. The problem is, my hips have gotten bigger since I've had 2 babies :eek: so even after I lose enough weight to get to that size, they still won't fit. So it'll be an all new wardrobe for me!!!!:D
