Thanks guys!

I'm just waiting for the day that I go down a size. I thought it was roughly 10-12 lbs per size, but it's not in sight yet. Maybe by the time I get back from vacation. 2 more days!!!

Talk about support...my mom (who I'm visiting in BC) who has been wanting me to lose weight since high school, called last night to see if I'm still following my program, because she's going shopping for healthy foods for while I'm there:D
 
YIPPEE! 10 pounds gone! Congratulations! You're almost to the 180's--you can do it!!!

Have a great vacation---and way to go Mom for being supportive! Remember to get some healthy snacks for the drive...grapes, carrots, string beans, etc...
 
Carry around a 10 pound bag of potato's??? Wow! What a loss!!! Keep up the great job, and way to go mom on being supportive.
 
Hi... I'm new here but wanted to pop in and say CONGRATULATIONS on your 10 lb loss! Don't feel bad about not going down in size yet... I lost 10 lbs last year and didn't go down either. I was soooo discouraged at the time but if I'd have stuck to it I'd be down to my goal weight now. So hang in there... you'll be out buying new cloths before you know it!

Thanks all!

I have planned to take various fruits, rice cakes, and granola snacks for the car (as well as tons of frozen bottles of water!). However, my problem will still be not snacking constantly. I'm determined to stick to my eating schedule for snacks and meals. I'm also making sandwiches so we don't have to stop anywhere for lunch. :)

I'm also going to take my video with me...I hope to get up early when my step-dad leaves for work (around 6:30am) and do it then every morning. Then I know I've got something done, even if we have a relaxing day sitting around! I also get to try swimming...even though we live on a beautiful lake, I don't swim much. Fear stems from watching the movie Jaws when I was little, I think:rolleyes: But there's a huge pool there I can take my girl to.
 
I get "Creature from the black lagoon" in my head when I swim in lakes. It’s weired, but I feel better swimming in the ocean down south than in a dark lake, and down south is the home of the Great White Pointer.
There is no logic to my hang-ups. :rolleyes:

healthy snacks that will do ya over just use caution when
driveing by those EVIL drive throughs!They make me really
think should I just 1 time then I go shopping or drive a different
route when they really bug me!But you are strong and it looks

The only drive through I'm worried about is Tim Horton's. I really do hate fast food, so that's not a problem. But I love Tim's chili, buns, and timbits:(
 
DQ you will be just fine you have a plan and that is half the battle!!! Just stick to your guns and Forget about Tim an his dang Chili, it ain't as good as your success;) have fun and keep on keepin on sista!!!! STAR:D

Their USA invasion is well under way but it looks like the United States of Texas is safe for a few more years. I know some Canadian chicks who couldn't stay out of a Tim Horton's for one day on a 1000 dollar bet.
 
wow congrats on the 10lb.
I assume smaller sizes go a little quicker than big ones, ive only just scratched 2 sizes off my list for over 60lb loss lol :/

Congratulations on losing 10 lbs! Have fun on your trip! Hey which tape are your taking - watch out doing your stripping video that early in the morning :D! You've got a great plan in order - you will have a great weigh in when you get back without a doubt!!

I've been lucky so far, we don't have a Tim Horton's in town, so I've avoided it so far. It's been about 6 months or so since I've been to one. I may treat myself to a single donut, and share it with my daughter on the way through...

Diva, I'm just taking the workout disc for the Fit to Strip...I would feel odd doing those moves in my mom's house! :eek:
