Also, glad to see a calorie level I'm more comfortable with. Although I still get hungry in the night with this. So hungry for breakfast.
 
Can't wait to see the bathing suit pictures! But...does it thaw out enough there to let you swim outside??

LOL! Yes, we swim in July, and if it's sunny, August too. I really wish we had a pool though, I love swimming.

I need the support; I get a LOT from on here, but it's nice to have a few around town that I can actually see. LOL!
 
Hey Dairy! Happy V Day! Yeah for new swimsuits, I got one too...a speedo (which is bad if your a guy, but "okay" if your a chick...right).

Well, for the last 2 weeks, I've been feeling like I'm not in control. I don't know why. I don't actually feel down in the dumps, but maybe I am. Or maybe it's S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder, for those who don't know). I need to get my focus back, so I'm going to start making specific, daily goals, directed at weight loss, and other stuff too.

1. Drink my water.
2. Back to only one diet pop a day.
3. One treat/dessert only.
4. Exercise for 30 minutes.
5. Finish organizing and cleaning my living room.
6. Mail my thank you cards, etc.
7. Go to TOPS meeting and weigh in :(
8. Work on healthy recipe book.
9. Stay under 1700 calories.
10. Do some research about nutrition and fitness. :)
 
I get all sad when I dont get enough sunlight this time of year. Tanning bed helps, but the doctors will get all angry when I say that... I wonder if you need to be taking a multivitamin? I know that when I take mine it helps.

Hope you are enjoying your Valentines Day. Sounds like the decisions you have decided on to make yourself the best you can be is just in the spirit of the day. Love for yourself I think is even more special than love for someone else.

Anyway hope you are feeling less in down in the dumps & good luck on focusing on all those goals. You are a champ, you can do it!

Hey DQ,

I have been having the same problem too, fot the last week or so. Each day has been getting better, but this time of year it's hard. I can't get out for my walks, cause it's too darn cold and I miss them. Today it's snowing again, -15 with a wind chill of -33. It's brutal. Now the forecasters are saying highs of 14 and rain next week. And people say there is no such thing as global warming.

Hey DQ, I know all about SAD. I have a happy lamp, it really helps. You should get one! Some insurance covers them, and bulb replacements too you should check into it. Last winter was my first winter with the lamp and it helped SO MUCH. I use it in the morning, mine is at work, for about a half and hour. Sometimes the other women in the office borrow it.
 
A happy lamp? That sounds so cool. :D


I think that I'm at the weight I was last week. I've officially lost the 2 lbs I gained over the weekend. Yay me. But I'm still disappointed in myself. It wasn't a plateau, and I wasnt' doing 'everything right'. It was my own fault.
