Cupcakes aren't that bad for you, neither are biscuits. A full on polish sausage only has 150-200 calories in it most times.
You skipped the frosting, you didn't mention any gravy, and you didn't say whether you put milk in your coffee...
Assuming you didn't float the biscuits in the gravy, and that you had reasonable amounts of cream in your coffee, you didn't go insane, you just slipped. I'd recommend you estimate how many calories you had, and just make up for it with some veggies and/or exercise.
May I recommend one thing for your future sanity: learn about cooking with splenda. A 50/50 mix of splenda and sugar (by volume) tastes like real sugar when you bake with it, and a 70/30 (splenda/sugar) mix is still pretty darn tasty.
It's also better for your kids, fewer calories for you, and barely noticeable, if t all. that doesn't mean it's an excuse to eat a bunch of the cupcakes, but it does mean you can have one, and maybe even cheat with a second.
Now, is your @$$ kicked?
Edit: And darn it all, SunnyDee up there is so right about things, just relax and continue back on your original plan of eating carefully. There is no "The day is shot, I'm going to load up on junk food" excuse, because it's just plain wrong. Yep, I said it, you thought you made a mistake, but it was so small as to be insignificant. *nods sincerely*
