hi everyone, welcome to my diary. i'm 5'2", weigh between 130-140 (i'd say 135), and want to get down to 115 by thanksgiving. i used to be around 150 lbs in my early teens (i'm 19 now), lost a good amount at 17, gained the "freshman 15" during this school year, but lost most of it this summer. now i just want to shed those last pounds and finally get skinny!
two things that have hindered my weight loss:
1. i broke/fractured (i never went to the doctor for it, so i don't know what really happened) my tailbone when i was 12/13 after falling on a patch of ice. it has been, up to this day, the most painful physical experience of my life. it took about 6 months to heal. it aches if i do certain exercises + i have very little lower back strength.
2. i was hit by a car when i was 15. i wasn't seriously injured, but the whiplash damaged my back, neck, & shoulders to the point where it affects me every day, making certain exercises painful & difficult to do.
i have overcome these difficulties in the past and lost weight...i just need to try harder now! and onto my diary...

mid-morning/afternoon:
-- 1 peach
-- 1 hard boiled egg (whites only) w/ slices of tomato
-- 3 slices of lowfat/low-salt swiss cheese (very thinly sliced)
-- 3 oz. fat-free yogurt
-- 2 slices of turkey (coldcut meat...very thinly sliced)
-- several handfuls of chocolate graham sticks (bleeehh i regret that)
night:
-- part of a pork chop w/ sauteed mushrooms & peppers scattered on top (the amount of meat i ate was really small...like 5 bites, lol)
-- 5 pieces of steamed cauliflower
-- 2 small bowls of sauerkraut (HOMEMADE BY GRANDMA...MMMMMMMM SO GOOD)
-- small piece of rye bread
-- very little of a baked potato w/ sour cream (less than half of a potato...maybe a quarter)
throughout the day, i drank 1.5 liters of water.
exercise:
-- walked/jogged outside for 70 minutes
-- stair climbed (10 stairs...i did 10 flights altogether...i slowed down a bit at the end though, got kind of winded)
-- lifted weights for, hmm, 15 min?
-- tonight i got all excited when i saw Free on Demand fitness videos on my cable (just got optimum cable a few weeks ago), so i did an abs one for 19 minutes and part of a hula dancing one (15 min?).
geez, this is so long...thanks for reading!
