ok 70 is not to bad. I still think im switching to the liquid eggs that have no yolk. to much cholesterol in yolk. so hungry right now. cant eat though its 10 at night.
 
Ive stopped eating after 7 ish as i tend to pick and pick late on a night, but ive been okay. Have you started a diary yet i find it extremely useful! Can track thoughts and look back to what youve done before when in situations. :)


Me and the hubby may be going to the cinema today so not sure if i should have a cheat day or cheat evening as I love the hot dogs and ive not had one in forever!
 
no I havent started a diary yet. Its hard for me to figure out proportions and how many calories everything has. Im not good at math. I will though soon I have to come up with some kind of plan and work on exercising. Instead of regular cheerios this week I though multigrain would be better for me. they are so nasty. it was aweful. plus they have more sugar, more carbs, and more fat then regular cheerios. I did not like them at all.


I dont think a hotdog would be to bad if you plan for it in your diet. Have to have a treat every once in awhile otherwise you break down and eat 2 boxes of twinkies in 2 days. I think if your diet is consistently clean it would be ok. if you were going to feast on 2 pounds of lasagna id be worried.
 
Well I went to the cinema, pizza hut and bowling last night with the hubby it was absolutely ACE, Ihad such a good time we played air hockey and i got super competitive like i always start doing air punchs and high 5s lol watched The Grey was pretty good.

Food wise, got a salad bowl and low cal pizza and ate half was 215 cals which is pretty good! In cinema I got pretty much everything possible but ate half a portion of nachos (regular size) and half pack of crispy M & MS (share bag dont think will be same size bag as would be in america though) did get popcorn but didnt touch as was really full and was only 1 hot dog left so let the hubby have it :)


I actually not eat yet :| its 3:37pm but been busy getting hair done for uni interview gunna cook some chicken and just bought some fresh salad :D probs have a couple new potatos sliced with it too.


32 - I use a fitday like web page you just need to weigh what you eat were possible, I dont always but now i know how much 100g of cous cous looks like when im at college i just put less than what i think. Fit day has like options for tspoons and tablespoons or cups worth of stuff has most stuff programmed i struggle with it as its american based and alot of uk food is differant. For breakfast I do a smoothie were i can, I do a banana, fat free frozen yogurt, teaspoon of peanut butter, teaspoon of mauka active honey, and i put oat bran in it which depends on what im feeling that day but usually a table spoon ish and remember level spoons or cups. That can make alot of differance. If yu can have whole grain pasta or rice it will leave you fuller too. When I cook my pasta i put garlic, pepper and salt in water that i boil it in as makes it taste nicer and brands taste differant here too so i get an organic one from our morrison store nicest one ive found. I try to stay away from alot of fruit as loads of sugars in them.

Have you calculated your BMR yet??
 
my BMI is 31.50. its in the obesity category ><. sigh. I will be using foodfocus i think to track calories. glad you had a good time at the movies. sounds like you got to have your hotdog :drool5: . Today is football so i will see how bad i screw up my diet this afternoon with honey stung wings.
 
Nah the BMR is what you natural calorie burn is for age, gender, height and weight then so mine is1813.5 and i cut it by 500/600 cals a day to ensure i have a weight loss.

Ive went to supermarket and bought stuff for hotdog and made one it was gorgeous! However I feel very guilty although it was the only thing id had I have just had a pineapple pot im not even going to put it in my food log as i know this weekend is a write off lol


Its the super bowl from as far as i know its only once a year?? like christmas just take it easy lol

oops. I got them confused. 2033 it says. so im guessing 1500 to lose weight then. I did good today I had a chicken salad instead of all the junk food that was around for the super bowl. I think im around 1350 calories for today. I hope you had a good superbowl. Forget about the hotdog just get your butt back into gear for monday. thanks for the link :grouphug:
 
We dont have superbowl unfortunately, we have other things but no superbowl :) try to eat as close to you allowance of cals as you can you dont want your body to fee like its not getting enough. Have you found a brekkie alternative yet?


I have a university interview today at 1:30pm and dont think i could stomach anything so will try something at some point but likely will eat after it about 4.
 
Lost 5 lbs really happy as makes all the work worth it Im setting off on the right foot happy happy happy and got excellent reviews from interviews so now its a waiting game!!
 
Love that quote you posted about the world needing people who are alive. It is so true. Doing things that make you come alive make a huge difference in your life and by that in the lives of everyone surrounding you. When I was a teenager I got sick and coudn't shake it, long story short, I felt nauseated for over 7 years. At some point I stopped complaining, I just started living this way, unable to do so many things I enjoyed because the nausea would drive me batty (I was a gymnast but tumbling made me feel sicker, I used to do ballet, but pireouettes would make me throw up, etc...). When they finally found what it was and started treating it, it was like seeing the world in colour for the first time. Like in Wizard of Oz. My family was surprised to have the happy, funny version of me back after so many years and they all were happier and more fun thanks to that. While that is a very extreme example, just finding something you like doing can have the same effect on you and your loved ones! And you have the right attitude, you are alive! And I am sure your family appreciates you being more alive now.


I love the title of your diary. Everybody should dance in the rain a little more, and complain about the bloody weather a little less :eek:)!

Well I've been away for almost a week, I think the stress of my interviews, a birthday, 4 assignments due in and now a poorly little dude has left me with little time and abit of a slip. I know I have slipped and I'm ready to embrace it and learn and move on!! It will be a gain. Im having a week off college this week "reading week". When im at college I get my dinner from canteen from the salad bar and not been at college I've lapsed in breakfast/dinners. I've felt really crappy today had a takeaway last night after been in the hospital with Jake. All the fat and crap has definately left me with a really bad stomach I will not have a another in a long time. I think mainly my slip has been a touch of laziness so no excuses this week. I need to have a look on the net for a nice quote as when I feel under motivated they remind me why and make me push myself.

Johanna - I can totally relate with the nausea, I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks because I vomited continuously up until the day I had him some weeks I would just sleep or lay in bed not moving or eating anything. Just drinking water. We would go out for meals and I would sit in disabled toilet been sick and crying because I couldn't face eating or smelling food. It was awful. I still get nausea every now and again or a smell of something will make me want to be sick. I cant even imagine how awful it must have been for you to suffer for 7 years.

Dancing in the rain was a quote one of my lecturer had used at the beginning of class why wait for the storm to pass when you could be dancing in the rain. It stuck with me I think people procastinate for too much. Its like ther is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing i love that too.

I will weigh tomorrow and get back on it tonight and properly tomorrow!!.

Awwww HAPPY VALETINES DAY tooooo :D and thanks for the warm welcome back :D He has just been in a semi - comatosed states once it turns 2/3 pm with high temp, vomitting, and coughing it just viral but insisted his waters are check just incase friend lil girl is same and it always because of waters. I have just treated myself to a nice heart monitor/pedometer/watch its rather girly which is not me as im more into COD than anything remotely girly.

One of my friends from college is really getting me down i feel like im in limbo with her, I absolutely adore her! However she is only young, and so laid back towards college work she is laid on floor but her work is suffering she has failed to get a uni interview aand I have been on her back about getting work done only because i dont want her to make same mistakes as me well i think i may have pushed her too hard but in a way im really annoyed as she doesn't work, have children and lives at home and she asks me the night before something is due in to send her my work I do and I don't mind but she still doesn't even make an attempt at it! She's been really distant :( Not sure what to do as it feels a little awkward :| I think too as we joined gym together and pledged to lose weight togther and i have been really good and she hasn't even started ahhhh That a mini vent for me today!!!

Hubby forgot to get me a card today good job i love him eh!!!
