Ok, start of a new diary, and hopefully a new way of life :D

-- How much weight do you want to lose?

30kg

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?

5 months (Target reached beginning of November)

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?

Get started again with regular exercise. Now that I live alone, cook more meals from scratch from raw ingredients rather than buying packaged supermarket rubbish. Address portion sizes. Make lunches at home to take to work instead of impulse buying unhealthy food.

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?

Work mates. I am losing the weight to support our company's divisional charity (Breast Cancer Care) so taking donations and motivation from work people.

-- How realistic is your goal?

Hopefully very :D

-- When will you start?

Wednesday 3rd June

Hey Dan!

Welcome to the forums, and good on you for starting a Diary, I am sure it will help you, having one has certainly helped me, there is lots of support in the forums too.

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on what you need to do to achieve your goals - So Best Wishes to you in your journey!!!

Ahhhhh internet connection! Only temp until mine gets set up at home but at least its something :) I have lost 4kg (8.8 pounds) so far, so going nice and stead! Its weigh in tomorrow so we will see what comes!!!

I bought that new Nintendo DS game, 'Walk with Me' its fun trying to achieve step goals! I also bought the 'Biggest Loser' training dvd and have done some of the workouts. I had thought my legs were quite strong from lots of use on the elliptical trainer and the exercise bike, but my god how they ached afterwards! And more! Muscles that I never knew existed were aching! Buts its all good, means more muscles used, more calories burned :)

Anyway, will check in again when I get the chance. Hope everyone else is celebrating their own successes :)

Hey sounds like your doing great!
And I love that your also doing this for a charity, must be a great motivator!
Nintendo is amazing for helping people get active, I use the Wii Fit and I love it but I have a DS and thats sounds like a good idea for when I'm just out and about :)
Good Luck!

Thanks guys :) I lost 4 stone a couple of years ago, just trying to continue with that! I was going to buy a Nintendo Wii this month but decided to hold off for a few months to save, rent needs paying, bills, those little inconveniences!!

Second day down fine :) Wish could exercise more, but hectic hectic lifestyle at the moment. May have to content myself with a walk tomorrow after work!

Well, its been a good week. Down 2 pounds down I think. Tonight is my cheat night, so pizza, beer and ice cream here I come :D
