cutting rep ranges

I was wondering the thoughts around here on which are better rep ranges while cutting...5x5, 4x6, or 3x8. I would be doing a three day split with:

Push Day:
Dumbbell Bench Press
Shoulder Press
Weighted Dips

pull Day:
Deadlifts
Wide Grip Chins
Barbell curls

legs:
squats
stiff legged deadlifts
calf raises

I'm open to adding a 4th exercise to those days if the reps would be 3x8. That is just the current routine I've been on while bulking. I think it is good so I'll stick with it.
 
you are only going to maintane muscle you have on a cut while you lose fat,so you need to lift reasonably heavy,so IMO all those rep ranges look good just pick which one is best for you.
 
ya i was leaning more toward 3x8 and if that is the case I would definitely add another exercise for all three days. (bent over rows for back as suggested). Not quite sure what else for push and leg day. Another compound or an iso for the arms? I figure the arms get enough work out from all those compounds anyway. And whats another good exercise to throw in leg day on top of the previously mentioned exercises?
