cutting phrase

Ive decided to start cutting start of next week. But the main question is:
1) By doing cardio straight after lifting weights, will i lose muscle?
2) Is it best to just do HIIT instead of doing a run for like 40 mins?
 
hiit definitly!
i dont know about your other question though.. i think you should do cardio on a seperate day alltogether. but if on the same day, do them after weights.. maybe get some food first? i dont know..
 
I've always heard (and this is probably just rumor) that if you do cardio before your weight training, then your body kind of stays in cardio mode instead of muscle building mode...and visa versa.

I normally do a 20-25 minute cardio after my workout...just as a precaution...haha.
 
its kind of true about the cardio tony.. ive been told that doing it on the same day confuses the energy systems in the body or something like that :S
i got it explained but it was too advanced for me to really get into:p
