cut and bulky at the same time?

so far I do a high weight such as 40ish-30ish matters how I energetic I am that do I do 3 sets of 11 reps then drop every 5 pounds. example- if I did 3 sets of 3os I would drop to 25 and do 10 reps then drop to 20 do 10 reps and so until I hit 10 pounds is this a good workouts to get bulky and cut at the same time or is it a waste of time?

What lift are you talking about?
Regardless, to answer your question:
Yes. If your goal is to get bulky, you are wasting your time.
You need to do progressive overload to gain mass.
Instead of lowering the weight, you should be increasing it.
How are you going to get stronger?
To get bigger you need to get stronger.
Try this:

Do 25s 10 times then go
to 30s 10 times and then go
to 35s 10 times.

You should try and do more weight every time. Even if on the last set you only get 8 reps out. You will soon get stronger.

J;)

Lifting is probably 30% of the battle, the other 70% is your diet. And to answer your Q, you can gain muscle and lose fat. But it is VERY hard, and takes a VERY long time. You're better off just bulking then cutting or vice versa.

I put on 10 pounds over the summer, hardley gained any fat.
But you did gain some fat, and did you take your bodyfat percentage? "eyeing" your bf isn't enough sometimes, you can store fat and not even notice a difference.

anyone got a good site as to how one would do it if they are already bulked up and now they wanna cut weight? or just advice or something cutting without losing muscle

haha he said 10 reps @ 25lbs, 10 reps @ 30lbs then 10 reps @ 35lbs. Can i start from 10lbs or wil that just lose muscle mass?

You wont lose muscle mass from lifting...Dont start at something thats just cake, unless its a warmup but the compound lifts are what I do for warmups. Try the wave loading set.

Mreik, I member that link that ~LV~ had I might have book marked it, is it just keep the calories to a minimum, something like 3500 cal= 1lb of fat so if you burn 1000 calories a day it will add up to 2lbs of fat in the end of the week? If it's not that I need it!!! heh
