hmmm.... mold... allergies... is the plantation actually in his HOUSE!!?? :p

Hehe, awesome about the "feral" belly dancing... like a cat, right??

Bye for now!

Mo: Actually you are one of the nicest people on WLF :) However, you're a paralegal and a part-time Dom, so the mean streak has GOT to be there :rotflmao:

YES it is fucking fantastic, thanks! It's warm hearted shit--almost as sweet as Matt's assistance to you the other night!

Honestly Val, you are the sweetest, neatest, and most completest peeps on here :hug2:

Working with lawyers isn't easy (the clients are sometimes worse :D). That actually gave me my mean streak :p

I'm a compassionate Domme. I can definitely be nasty, but only if my "victim" wants it that way ;) At the end of the day, I just give the boys what they want!!! :coolgleamA: :reddevil:

Yeah, Matt melted my heart on Monday night. It was total mush by the time we left the gymnastics club :beating::beating:

I was just catching up on your journal and I have to say I LOVE that pic of you and PZ. He is definitely cute and you are gorgeous. In that pic with him though you have a glow about you...like wishes said you look totally hot. And it's no wonder he wants to spend so much time with you, you're the whole package. Looks, personality, and a caring person with an awesome outlook on life :) I'm really glad you're so happy cuz you deserve it.

G: Thank you for the kind words. I currently do not feel in top shape, and I can't wait for it to get warmer and stay lighter, longer, so I can get good, long, outdoor runs in! :smash:

Stacy: Love ya too! Belly dancing was GREAT, as I mentioned, we're learning a new choreography and I'm liking it better than the others I've learned (and never really got great at).

Tysha: Thanks! :) And yes, PZ's a keepa! :sifone:

Anke: Yes you're right. I'm happy and healthy, and yes, a might bit obsessed with the number one-thirty-five. You might see it with people who have a goal, then get close to it......and then can't quite reach it! Infuriating!

MJB: It was GREAT meeting you and your sister :grouphug: in the flesh! Thanks so much for the kind words, and I agree with you--PZ is amazing, isn't he? I didn't even KNOW he'd be so cool, hanging out with me and my girl friends! WOW. He continually amazes me with his coolness!

Amy: Too sweet, awwww thanks! :hug2:

Claudia: Hee hee!

H i realized that you are the skinny friend!
You know you have your groups of friends, and theres always the fat friend, and the skinny friend that everyone secretly wants to be ... and thats you! you are the skinny friend! (totally hot too .... ya bitch!)

LOL hey thanks Liz--funny you should say that, because my homegirls I went to high school with (and am still friends with, miss those girls! :( Gotta visit them, soon) were ALL skinnier than me and definitely HOT. I'm tellin' ya, most of them had a 19-21 BMI and unique beauty, it was a little intimidating but man oh man, we were all so close it didn't really get in the way, much. NOW they are all STILL skinny AND they work out--good for them! :hurray: Only one got overweight, and she never talks bad about herself and just landed herself a really cute, sweet, younger boyfriend so........:D

Ick, how does PZ live with mold around. The smell is so sickening. Eeeeek!

He wants to move so bad---his allergies are AWFUL and he's always feeling run down. He know's it's the house. That's why we went to check out land in Boulder Creek for him to buy, last weekend.

Anke, again: Totally!!!! Can't wait to show you guys!

Mo: Warm-hearted!!! You are a sparkling gem, thank JAH you made it to WLF!!!!

Lisa: Awwwwwwww! WOW, make me cry already! Thank you so much for the kind words. When PZ and I get together, we like to spread the positivity--like giving people rides, walking peoples' dogs, tipping big, just the little things in life that don't seem like shit, but they add up to a great life and happiness :)

Well I meant it :)

And wow about the mold problem...that's serious stuff. I lived in apartment that had a mold problem and the landlord refused to help...wouldn't even let me paint with "killz" or anything. I was sick all the time there and developed asthma which I'd never had. My neighbors all developed respiratory problems after living there as well. One who had lived there before me got so bad she had to be rushed out by ambulance a few times from not being able to breath and she'd never had the problems before living there either. All of us started putting it together and I moved. And when my mom spent the weekend there helping me move out she started having horrible nose bleeds. Within 2 weeks of moving out I felt SO much better. So I hope he can get out of there soon before it affects his health any more.

Mold is SERIOUS business. He knows he has to get out of there ASAP--me refusing to sleep over more than a couple times a week seems to be motivating him :)

A lot of molds are TOXIC and can cause a whole shit load of health problems.

If PZ has allergies, too, he's going to be a lot more sensitive to it and he's also going to feel like major crap.

I hope you guys find a place for him to live, because he sure as heck can't stay where he is.

GOOD LUCK :)

Thanks for the luck, Mo--we'll find him a better place! Remember--he's rich enough to BUY :eek2: So he's lookin'........

K I got a lot of work done today. I didn't get to visit everyone I wanted to, but there's always tomorrow :rotflmao:

Exercise: I ran for 40 minutes on the beach today. I FOUND my missing running shoe and iPod :hurray: That had me slightly uneasy for a second!

I'm going to the gym to weight train a routine Steve gave me, then Yoga at 7:30, then PZ's house at 9! :beating: YAY!

There is a giant party at a huge club in SF that I've been waiting a month for--but my best girl friend told me today she is SICK and can't make it  Ah well, she needs to take care of herself. I have no camera, so no pictures or video, sorry! OK gotta get out of here, soon.

Wow - Cory is highly allergic to all molds.

He got a 4+ on a scale of 1-4 at the allergist. *Yikes*

Great Job w/your exercise as always! :hurray:

:hug2:

<3 Stacy

Val... :( you have shamed me.. You are right, I've been so caught up in other stuff...

But that's it now, I'll be by to bug ya on a more regular basis now!!!

BTW, you and PZ look pretty damn cool together!

PZ has enough moolahrooney to buy? THAT'S GREAT!!!! I'm sure he'll find something right now. It's DEFINITELY a buyer's market! :)

Oh Val ... I just have such a good feeling about this dude ... ever since I started reading about him in your journal. Then after seeing his pic, and I could see his eyes, that pretty much sealed the deal ;)

Remember when I called him PV? :D I'm such a dork! :p

I currently do not feel in top shape,

Hey, all the power to ya! :D

and I can't wait for it to get warmer and stay lighter, longer, so I can get good, long, outdoor runs in!

Amen to that! This year has been weird with the super-cold weather. I'm a little bit concerned about that.

There is a giant party at a huge club in SF

Go git 'em girl & have fun!! :beerchug:

Woooo! Isn't it great to look forward to things!? Almost more fun thatn the actual thing sometimes! :) I think I need to make some "looking forward to" plans NOW.

Wow, running on the beach... do you at least run on the firmish wet sand??? I hate that sinking sandy feeling! Cool, I can do 5k in 40 minutes now... would like to run on my own for a long run once a week maybe, as I'm with a running club the other 3 runs....

You're making me think I should find a beautiful trail or SOMETHING special... hmmmm :)

:seeya:

Working away from desk today

Hi y'all!!! :seeya: {/Britney Spears} <---------:smilielol5:

On lunch, today I won't have much time to visit but I want to update because yesterday I had a FANTASTIC, GOAL-REACHIN' DAY!!!! :Angel_anim:

Stacy: I have always been highly allergic to all sorts of things. Eating less processed foods, dairy, and refined wheat seems to help me, as well as getting OLDER!

Karl: Oh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to shame you  I figured that you thought "Ah, Valerie's doing fine, I need to visit people who need my help!" :Angel_anim:

Mo, you're not a dork! Yes, Trops even said that he had a good feeling about PZ. PZ is always saying, "we should to to THIS festival together" and the festivals are months in advance . It's as if he assumes we'll still be dating. I think that's cool. My first reaction is doubt; then I think, well, WHY would we break up, things are great? Still, I'm jaded and recovering from Post Traumatic Relationship Syndrome and a general "good things never last" attitude. Rest assured, my attitude is going from that to "better things come up all the time"!

G: I'm always aiming for better fitness, the problem lies "in which area?" I'm sort of stuck in between deciding what I want to go with: being a faster runner--being a better Yogi--becoming good at rock climbing--or being a better belly dancer. I feel like if I have my fingers in too many pies (sounds suggestive but I DO NOT like girls :p) then I'll only be mediocre at them all. But here's my conclusion:
--There is no rush with being a better Yogi. It takes years, and I only started regularly doing Yoga in September
--I don't love BD enough to do it everyday. However, I have my Beginner's Intensive 7 week course with Crystal Silmi that starts Monday the 2nd of March, and is every Monday until April to improve my skills. I'll also be taking Rebekah's class on Tuesdays, so maybe having 2 classes a week will inspire me!
--It's not running season yet, and so far I haven't signed up for a single race. I might not race as much this year as last (Did around 6 races last year, kinda burned out and feeling like I'm getting slower).
--Whether I like climbing or not, I have a 6 month membership and an expert at my side (Chris) to make me climb, anyway, at least once a week.

Can ya feel me? Pie Fingers!

Anke: Firm wet sand, yes. There is a short bout where I go from the parking lot to the waterfront and I'm tip-toe running in soft sand. I never stop running. It's an ego-thing. By all means! Run on your own! I never had a running club :(

Yesterday

Calories: 2075! Exercise I estimated to be about an 800 calorie deficit, so I definitely had a very deficient day! In a good way! :Angel_anim:

Exercise:
40 minutes running on beach
35 minutes intense weight session
75 minutes intense Ashtanga Vinyasa/Anusara Yoga with Alice, subbing for Mangala, who usually does less intense, more therapeutic classes (she's a nurse and had clients backed up and had Alice sub)

My weight session was from Steve's suggestion, and went like this:
4x5 Barbell Squats with 115 lbs
3x10 hanging leg raises in between sets
3x8 :hurray: on each side, with two, 25 lbs dumbells THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING MOVE I'VE EVER DONE. IT FEELS GOOD, IT CHALLENGES MY BALANCE, I CAN FEEL IT IN MY ARMS, SHOULDERS, BACK, CORE, LEGS, AND ESPECIALLY ASS--OH GAWD IT'S GONNA MAKE MY ASS GREAT!!! :D I highly recommend this move for EVERYONE. It blows all other moves out of the water. I watched my form, but also looked around as I was doing them and saw other people doing conventional, standard moves and realized I was hitting more body parts at once, and was so much more efficient. :D
4x8 Bench press--I had to use the 25 lbs dumbells instead of the barbell because it was in use. My pecs were still sore from Monday, so the 50 lbs was good enough for me.
3x10 Close Grip Cable Rows, 50 lbs
2x60 second Side Planks on both sides, 1x30 second Side planks on both sides. This bothers my wrists but not in a bad way. My wrists are fine, they just couldn't stand 3x60 seconds.

My boyfriend
Sectioned off a part of his room that leads to a moldy garage--I woke up this morning feeling great with a clear nose and perfect throat--problem solved! :hurray: Until he moves! He had also weight trained yesterday in the daytime--I condoned it and encouraged more :sifone: What a sly bitch I am! Seriously though, he COULD have a male model's body if he wanted, he's genetically blessed and already muscular and tall :drool5:

Bye for now!

Oooo so will you be spending more nights w/ the man?!?! Glad you woke up feeling good!!

Thanks for sharing that video!! Looks like I'll be trying that move tonight :)

Not everyone should do single leg romanian deadlifts. Ya, it's a great movement. But a foundation should be built before doing it weighted and I wrote that in Val's program b/c I knew she had the foundation.

Romanian DLs look pretty cool :) I've never done them.

Val, you sound like you're just a little bit into this PZ dude :p (isn't that the understatement of the century here!!!)

I just love reading about you two, especially your blow-by-blow commentary of certain ... er ... events!!!
