I know! I'd have a better time getting it from salmon, but The World's Healthiest Foods website is right--eggs are CHEAP, man.

Salmon's pretty cheap, too, if you're a fan of CostCo. They have these packages of wicked tasty Salmon burgers that come out to less than a buck each. But I guess you probably go for that free range, organic type stuff. Like any creature's existence can even be nonhostile, or anything in the world is still "unpolluted". You people amuse me.![]()

Great bit of info! Eggs are great, I have been adding them in recently to up my protein and work on adding to that lean mass I have instead of letting it fade away with weight-loss. Often I do them for breakfast, scrambled with hot sauce on them.
I also will sometimes make a batch of crustless quiche in muffin tins. They are bite size and ready to go. I put in spinach, turkey bacon or sausage, and some lowfat cheese.

But your friend Chris, that is so sad...
He's very fortunate to have met you. Probably it's important that you met him too. I do believe that things like that are opportunities to learn something. Usually you don't know what it is while it's happening but sometimes you do.
From the other side of the country (where I am) I'm struck that of all of the people I know, you are more full of LIFE than any. So being close and loving to somebody so near to the end is especially meaningful.
Oh hello!
This website is solid gold: The World's Healthiest Foods
I too am trying to stay lean, that's part of the reason why I'm adding the eggs--word, it's way better than a 500 calorie bagel or something.
And I got the protein joke! I wan ignoring it--and watch out, I can get filth nasty here in a second.........![]()

Cooking them ruins them and almost all egg allergies are only to cooked eggs. Raw ones dont bother them. You will get used to them.
But they will insist that natures perfect food is bad for you.
Thanks for the website, I'll check it out. I'm nowhere near lean, I'm just working on getting there and want to preserve the lean mass I have now for when I get to that point.
I figured you'd get the joke, you seem like a bright girl. Oh, and it wasn't me who said it I just found it a little funny.

The website can customize a meal for you according to what nutrients you might be lacking, after you read about what the nutrients and vitamins do for you and figger out where you might be going wrong. CHACCHING!
No problem, protein all around, protein in my brain, protein in my mouth, protein on my chest, la dee da dee!![]()
With my date.I had a sweet potato yesterday, was pretty good. Not a huge fan of them though because you usually need sweetners for them. Butter, sugar, and cinnamon, or honey. Tryin to stay away from butter and processed sugar. Oh, and a cinnamon sweet potato sounds dry and bleh. I make some pretty good sweet potato fries that I dip in honey mustard, those are killa.
Yeah, I make a recipe that I like, not for anyone else, and it is a sort of crazy wild rice with stuff in it like cherry tomatoes, chunks of bell pepper, chunks of sweet potato, basil, chunks of fake chicken, and chopped up raw habeneros. Spicy goodness! Very little bad things in there, I only use a bit of olive oil.
