Hahaha, Alta just made me laugh with some rep--holy smokes!

I noticed a lot of people are running races on TG--and everybody's is called a Turkey Trot. Is that a tradition? My first race, ever, was a Turkey trot in 2000. I only ran it because my instructor for a running class I took (I took it originally to lose fat, and at the time I couldn't run for very long without stopping) told me to--I did 2 miles in 16:00. I won over the only other girl and got on the internet for it for YEARS. Haha.

My TG race "To Feed the Hungry" sounds so uppity compared to "Turkey Trot", what gives? LOL! "I used to run Turkey Trots, now I Race to Feed the Hungry." LOL!
