Creatine questions-help plz

Hi, I just started lifting a few months ago and now I heard of a few people my age doing creatine and I have heard of the results. I went out and bought from GNC a "Protein Mix" bottle, and a case of "Mega mrp adavanced sports meal" packets - contains 2.5g of creatine per packet and bought a case of "Creatine monohydrate" That countains 5g of creatine per teaspoon.

My question is , how should I use this stuff? for the past week I have been having a protein shake in the morning and using half of the Mega Mrp Sports Meal before my workout then the other half after my workout is complete. Now im wanting to add in the creatine to my day and was thinking of cutting out the sports meals and substituting it for the creatine and keep up the protein shakes in the morning.

Any adivce on what to do would be greatly appreciateted, Thanks.

The general notion is that having 5g half an hour before each workout is optimal. This is what I'm doing just now with Satur8, however, when I used regular creatine monohydrate before I would take it between sets - and it seemed to be more effective. Whether this was because I was more of a beginner before, because Satur8 isn't as good, or because of the actual timing, I'm uncertain.

im taking protien that has 78% of what u need in two scoops i take 4 scoops... and take it an hour before working out.. simotaneously when i take the protien i also take russian red creatine.. its jube... and im wondering if thats good.. then while im working out and i get a pump i take another creatine jube... and when im finsihed i take another....my protien shake is called muscle milk any1 heard of it ?... and any 1 know of russian red creatine .. im wondering if these products have a good rep and if there affective..

honestly, 5 grams of plain of creatine monohydrate taken once a day at anytime of the day is perfectly fine. so its ok to take it pre workout, post workout, whenever.

Another question, Should I be taking it every day? even on the days I do not work out? Sunday- Saturday? or Should I take it Mon-Friday Or Mon-Thursday

yes, take it everyday. you can use it year round or you can just use it for certain peroids of time.

personally, i use when trying to gain size and dont use it when trying to lose bodyfat. :)

I tried creatine too for a week or two... but I didn't have a spoon with it or so... I was wondering, how much is 5 gr ? Is that a tea-spoon, a soup-spoon, or whatever ? And how long do you have to take it to see difference... and if I didn't see difference in those 2 weeks, I guess that means the creatine had no effect on me, or did I just not take enough ? I kinda expected it wouldn't work though :p

5 grams is a teaspoon

personally i saw a difference in 2 weeks when i began taking it but i had done a loading phase. so i'd assume without loading (and we dont need to load as i have learned) you could probably double that so say roughly 4 weeks to notice a difference in your workouts. i'm just making a guess here.

now there are some ppl who dont respond to creatine for whatever reason. its true your body makes it own creatine and you can get it from food so maybe they get enough of it already.

and that would agree with the fact that taking more creatine than whats recommended doesnt give better results. :)

i took 13grams everyday... for about 3weeks ... and i noticed some results.
that wasnt even considered a loading phase, but a normal day amount to take.

just live ur life in the present, let the results come to you. Save yourself the anxiety and stress.
