cramps!

well i wasnt exactly sure where to post this..
so after an intense bicep workout my arms can cramp on command, and i can make it stop on command too.. and i know that when you work out your goal is to lightly tear the muscle in hopes it grows back a little bit larger than before, i also know that when a muscle cramps that it becomes so tight that it can tear.
so heres my question: if done in moderation, do you think this could be taken advantage of? like if after a bicep workout i was to cramp for 10 sec each arm, and give it 4 days to heal, do you think i would see better results, and is it safe?

and for all of you who read the "wrist pain" forum, yes i did an intense bicep workout with the straps on my forearm! lol

cramping doesnt sound all that safe of a way to build muscle, and is it the muscle cramping or your tendon. my arms cramp too after a hardcore bicep work out usually goes away after a few minutes. try streching them before and after working them out.

This cramping isn't normal bro. I would seriously get that checked out. I really don't think a forced cramp is going to be of benefit to you. There is some speculation (Arnold Schwarzenegger swears by it) that a muscle will develop much more significantly is you flex and squeeze after a workout. He felt that a muscle that wasn't flexed often wasn't being extended to full potential.

i always get a little cramp after i do tons of reps, usually while im doing the excersise though once i stop it usually goes away.

yeah if it lasts for a extended period of time contact a doctor.
