Couple Questions

I just got a couple of questions, i havnt really gone through these boards much so this has probally been asked millions of times. I just started going to the gym for about 2 months now. Im not on any kind of diet but i do watch what i eat. My routine for the week goes like this; chest, shoulder, arms, back, legs. Each day i do about 5-6 exercises with 4 sets at 12 reps. I also walk to the gym and back, which is a good mile from my house. I would really like to be in shape for the summer but im going to really hard, will the walking help me get cut up and loose alot of the fat i have (i weigh about 175 and im 5'10)? For the past two months ive been faithfully taking mega men vitamins every morning, i take "trak" (creatine <sp>) and drink two protein shakes a day (isopure 100grams). . . Do you think i could do anything better to move the process along or does it seem like im heading in the right direction?
 
run or jog home from the gym instead of walking.. i know you'll already be tired, but that'll work to your advantage.
