I will need to set up my pre-op appointment for the 1st or 2nd of November I think the hardest thing I have to do befoe surgery is stop smoking. Started Chantix this week and am hoping it works.


During my consult they told me that the undergarments would be included in the price. But was wondering if I should have extra on hand and where to look for them.

50 days and counting...


So I decided I would like to lose just a few more pounds before my surgery. I am starting my weight lose routine back up. I have my Bodybugg charged, my exercise plan ready, and last but not least my food diary and pen ready to start. The motivation is there just need to put it all in to action.


And I am day 3 of Chantix and am noticing that I am not thinking about when I can have that next cig. I am so excited about quiting not only for the cash I will be saving but for my health and family. I told my 16yr old son last night that I was trying to quit and he of coarse said again??? He then told me he was out of soda, I asked him if he could give up soda if I could give up smoking he replied mom I maybe only have 5 a day that's not going to hurt me. Well as we all know giving something up is not easy and I told him that yes it can, from tooth decay to weight issues to diabetes because of all the sugar which diabetes does run high in my family, to many other health issues. He was still not to willing to give up his soda... I just basically told him giving up an addiction is not as simple as just not doing it... He did agree that he understood.


Well its time to go for my morning walk. Will check back in tomorrow.
