Countdown to Mrs Sunflower!

I ate too much yesterday considering I didn't work out--Had hummus that needed eating so ate a ton of that with pitta crisps. Not good. Sitting at home all day is not a good plan for weight loss! Going to the pool today, despite wanting to keep an eye on the building works. Can't stay in all week & I have to take some Math's classes this week anyway in preparation for my exam (retaking a GCSE from when I was a kid..Maths is HARD!) so need to just accept I can't be here watching the builders the whole time!

I'm doing a low calorie dinner tonight so here's hoping I wont want to snack. Plan for lunch is low-calorie noodles (131 a pack) and a cereal bar and then dinner is sorted so hopefully I wont be tempted.

Breakfast: skipped
Lunch:skipped
Dinner:slimming world pizza base (187) toppings (240) baked potato (190) carrot sticks, celery (0)
Snacks: tiny amount of crisps and humus (185) wine x 3 (570)

Total:1372
Exercise:Swimming, 50 mins alternating front crawl, breaststroke with 10 second break between sets (-502)

Right, off to weigh in now. Lets hope last nights binge hasn't ruined my work!

Seriously. 4lbs ON. Seriously. Fuck my actual life.

Have now missed breakfast and lunch out of spite as am so pissed off. I swam 4 times last week and was under 2000 cals EVERY DAY. Bleh.

Better day tomorrow. I still swam today even though I was pissed off.

Sunflower there's no way you've gained 4ibs in a day/few days on what you've been eating (even if you ate loads of hummus and crisps). I second what Cate says- water retention. Anything salty will do it. Drink lots of water and carry on as you were, don't let it get you down. You'll probably find that the scales suddenly drop back down any day now, which will be awesome to see :D
 
Thank you, my lovely ladies. I know you're right. Just felt very down in the dumps yesterday--the work we are having done on the house has resulted in INSANE amounts of noise all day, 2 hours of cleaning after they leave each day and the whole house is covered in dust. I miss my orderly home!!

Anyway, I went back to my friend's this morning and weighed in. I've just come on my ladies tiiiiiiime this AM too, so think maybe that could have contributed to my 4lb gain. This AM I am down 3lb so that's made me feel a bit better.
How I've lost 3lb overnight is a mystery--bodies are weird. I've taken you're advice and have drunk like a beast today and had only veggies for lunch--going to have the same dinner as last night and hope for the best!

No swimming today--had a math class this AM and then my friend's and then I've been cleaning since lunch time so ready for a rest and a book I think.

Lunch:skipped
Dinner: slimming world pizza (187) toppings (230) 1 potato (120) olive bread (342)
Snacks: wine x 2 (360) pitta chips (100) string cheese (64)

Exercise: 11,000 steps , 45 mins at the pool swimming like I had a great white on my ass

I'm all kinds of win today. Swam for 45 mins instead of napping/eating/crying/reading Bukowski & drinking copious amounts of wine. And then I chilled in bed with my most adorbs of cats.

You guys have to see this shit--Isn't he too cute to be allowed to LIVE. Overwhelming urge to KILLSQUISHKISS anything that is "too" cute--completely normal, yes? So me and the LucaMarieBagginsBag chlled in bed & looked at wedding shit (hiring an ice cream van..*drool*

Oh yes! I went to a wedding reception a few years ago with a ice cream sundae bar, it was brilliant. DO IT!!!!
 
Well done Han on the 45 mins swimming. Did the great white bite your arse? Renovations are really disruptive & nerve-wracking. You did really well! :D xoC
 
Thanks Cate! The great white did no ass biting! I'm horrifically scared of sharks (used to refuse to have baths when I was a kid because I was so scared and it's not gotten much better into adulthood!) So occasionally I'll be swimming and be overcome by "THE FEAR" and just panic swim my way to the other end--All good exercise!!

My calories were under 1500 yesterday--I'm going out for dinner tonight but I'm skint as a skint thing so wont' be ordering much or drinking this evening. Have just got back from a long swim, feeling good!

Breakfast:
Lunch: pitta chips (205)
Dinner: halloumi and chorizo warm salad (543)
Snacks: garlic bread (430) cocktail (190)

Total:1368
Exercise: 45 min swim

Oh God, I know exactly what you mean. I never swim at the beach just for that reason (mind you, there's a heap of sharks on Aussie beaches. When I was up north WA crocodiles too!) So creepy. Even fish swimming around my feet freak me out!

Thanks Cory--My mood has been much better but feeling a bit shitty today. Did 7 hours of Math today and did my test--Just got to wait for results now but essentially, if I don't pass this, my plans to do my next degree are on hold until next year which will be disappointing. Glad it's all done though--will free up some time and can finally start to de-stress a bit. Just in time for a 3 day weekend :D

Not logging food tonight as I'm having a go with the flow evening and not stressing myself out. I've swam 8 days out of 9 and I'm shattered and need a good nap now!
 
Hullo, everyone! I've been a busy bee. New job is insane--9-5 has been more like 8-7 so I'm doing excellent on the food front as have no time to eat but poor levels of exercise. Although saying that, I've hit my 10,000 steps all week! But no swimming. But I am going tonight and I WILL finish at 5 today.

Also, that's me on the right looking a bit slimmer than usual! This was Monday..my friend has joined the RAF so we had a goodbye shindig for her x
