Could this be an effective cardio?

As someone who is always looking for new ways for cardio i thought of something. I wrestled for 2 years in high school, and i distinctly remember live wrestling was VERY tiresome. I still know how to do it and how to do it safe. My room mate was also a wrestler(1 year). I considered trying MMA but i dont wanna get my a$$ punched and kicked for fun

DO yal think us wrestling live would be good cardio, kind of mimicking sprints, being that you use quick burst to energy to over come ur opponent? Im just throwing out ideas, thanks for your input.
 
I think it would be excellent cardio. Any fighting is tiresome as hell! Go for it! Just know that with wrestling there is quite a bit of muscle action aswell.
