I completely understand you and your mind!!!...I actually loved those quotes so much as well, I printed them out and pasted them here in my office wall!!..I needed new ones!! :D!!!...Me too...I always look for and find the meaning in everything too!!..I beleive that we are attracted to the things we need to hear and see and be around when we need it most!! :D!!

....Girl!!!!....I'm truly blessed to watch you Grow as well!!!..You are deep as an ocean and I love it! Your communication of it as well, is so touching..because sometimes I just wish the world was a wishing well so deep and full of hope..and HERE...I can find that through wonderful people like yourself too!!!! So I did it...& I decided to face my fear!!! :D! I started a 2 week 5 lb Challenge with JuanX starting today and I weighed in and after a week long destruction period.....I gained 7 lbs from 151. ...So now ...I'm 158 :eek:!!! WTF?!?!...

....anyway...still feeling good about my efforts...and not going to change my ticker back...Cause I'm not accepting this gain as REAL!...also I had my TOM and I just finished...so maybe a slight 1/2 lb. could be water weight..hahaha...water retention I mean. ;) ....hahahha....maybe not!.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exercise yesterday: 30 mins. of Power Yoga (after work b4 school)
30 mins. of Sauna @ Ballys w/ Yoga moves in there (night-after schl)

Exercise this morning: 30 mins. of Stationary Bike @ home w/ arm movements

...Exercise is getting to be easier and easier to think of it as a part of a daily activity. I mean, most people who have pets take their dogs out for a walk everyday.Why wouldn't we want to walk our bodies everday?!?!! ...same concept no?!?!

....:D! That's the way I'm feeling about it now...it's something that has to be done everyday for happiness and safe living! :iagree:...even something...15 mins in the morning is more than what we were doing..and ONE step closer!...
.....I tend to forget things like that when I self sabatoge myself, and let myself spiral down for a couple days back to back. I mean come on right...camping this past week....I ate: Smores, Chicken, Meat, Hamburgers, Fries, Eggs, Bread, Cookies, Brownies, Chips, Alcohol, Beer....EVERY TOXIN OUT THERE>>>I ATE IT!!!! :puke:

...& Tom was around & I was camping & the craving for sweets & the end...the story finishes at 158 lbs! :eek:...well..I did this to myself....now I'm getting myself out!!!...]If anyone wants to join me and JuanX on our personal 2 week 5 lbs loss challenge!!!....Feel Free!!!!...LET'S DO IT!!! ....and if not...hopefully in 2 weeks..I will be 5 lbs smaller!!!!...:iagree:!

This SUNDAY....dun dun dun...me and my Running partner are doing an 18 mile Training RUN @ 7 am...on this MASSIVE TRAIL with HUGE hills.....!!!! :party:!!! :puke:!

..the puke is for the fear! (we've done it once though in the begging of June &...we can do it again!!!) ;)!! hahaha....

Alta, I thought about saying something along similar lines when I read about you being robbed again but stopped myself for fear of sounding corny. Sometimes we need to vent just to get it out of our systems & then we bounce back. Sweets you know what is really important in life & I am loving being able to watch this beautiful, positive & very active Alta emerging. (You still exhaust me as well as inspire me! LOL) You're learning much faster than I ever did! Life is great & we don't need much at all in the way of material things. Sending you hugs & kisses, xoxo Cate.
 
whats up girl? how ya been? Im still doin my thing, this summer has been crazy! I've gone on 4 trips already this summer. I was even out in your neck of the woods, I stayed with a buddy in Pasadena for 4 days, man its sooooooo nice out there! LUCKY!

Went on some coasters, did a little indoor skydiving at city walk, did a little yo yoing with the weight, peaking at 186!!! (you guys still have round table pizza out there, we dont have that here any more :p )

Im back down to 174, and should steadily decrease, as i dont think my bank account can stand any more vacations this year :/

hope ya doing good, i'll read over your posts when i get a chance... or... you can sum it up for me :)

I don't know maybe August is evil or something. I was 193 in late June/early July and just the other day I was all the way up to 203! :puke: This morning I was 199. Either way its a definite gain. Now I see you gaining too. We are both running are butts off. We should be losing weight. WTF?!? I am pretty sure I have gained because of some meds I started around end of June/early July but when I read that you are gaining too it really confuses me. Unless we are both overeating to compensate for all the calories we are burning from running?

Well, don't let it get you down too much. Keep on running! And good luck with your 18 mile run! Holy moly that's far!

WOW!!...You know...now that you mention it...I did start taking BC pills this past month. It would now equal one month of taking them,...plus eating bad...and I think YUP..like you said...more running equals more more hunger and more hunger equals more eating.

...So I think cut the portions for us, and by now I think the medications should be adjusting to the body to start shedding the lbs again. Plus we all go through a little water retention!...Cause looking at your body...you don't look much heavier at all...and I don't feel I look that much different. sooo...hmmm...YEAH...let's just keep WORKING hard and the rest will follow!!! :iagree:!!!

2-Saturday: 6 mile Run @ Balboa (so hot!) (600 cals burned)

3-Sunday: 2.5 hour bike ride on Stationary bike, 3 min. of 5 lbs hoola hoop, arm stretches (1, 075 cals burned)

4-Monday: 45-50 min. Power Yoga video -true core (hard!) (450 bike cals + 250 cals yoga= 700 cals burned)1 hour Stationary Bike @ home

5-Tuesday: 35-40 mins of Yoga Stretches.--nice ab work-again. (75 cals-120 cals burned)

6-Wednesday: day off

7-Thursday: 1 hour 4.5 mile UPHILL run to the HOLLYWOOD SIGN ..@ 4:30 pm -95 degrees outside--with a NICE breeze, hot as hell though, got extra crispy skin..hahah-+ 30 mins of Power Yoga (450-500 cals for run + 100 avg. for yoga= 600 cals burned)

8-Friday: 1 1/2 hour Stationary Bike ride- 125 crunches ( mixed) & 10 mins of 5lb. Hoola Hoop (700-725 cals)

9-Saturday (08/01/09): (weigh in day)--I FUCKN GAINED 2lbs!!!! 151lbs! no exercise

10-Sunday: no exercise

11-Monday: 9 mile HILL run-2 times back and Forth to the Hollywood Sign-2 hour run!(about 1,000 cals burned)..:D!

12-Tuesday: day off

13-Wednesday: 5.5 mile run= 4.5 mile Run up to the Hollywood Sign + 1 mile cool down run=
(550-600 calories burned)-Hills

14-[B]Thursday:.(8/6/09-TODAY....class, got home super late-no exercise-(tired day off)[/B]

15.- Friday: No exercise

16- Saturday- clean the house-dance/yoga-10 mins. ---but no real exercise

17- Sunday----9 mile 12 HUGE hills training RUN~& 40 mins. of Stationary Bike!!!!!...(about 1,350 cals burned together) :D!

18- Monday---30 mins of HOT as HELL sauna w/ Yoga moves at gym (200-300 cals burned) + 40 mins of Stationary Bike @ home! (337.50 cals= 637.50 cals...around there...600 cals assume burned)

19-Tuesday: Day off

20-Wednesday: 4.5 miles w/ 6 Huge hills to Hollywood hills training run again! :D!

21-Thursday: 40 mins. Stationary Bike in the morning b4 work. :D!!...Wooot Woooot...let's DO THIS MORNING THING!!! ;)

22-Friday--nothing camping


23-Saturday-rafting and sitting for 6-7 hours-not much exercise-purse stolen

24- Sunday-nothing..just eating -my purse was stolen...

25-Monday..clean the house-no real exercise

26- Tuesday- 30 mins Sauna after school (dripping sweat and 5 mins of Yoga moves in there.)-feeling lazy

27- Wednesday: 30 mins. of Power Yoga (after work b4 night school) & 30 mins. of Sauna w/ Yoga moves @ Bally's after school.

28-Thursday: (08/20/09) (158lbs) 30 mins. of Stationary Bike w/ arm movements-circles-morning b4 work, 1 mile Run Hill repeats before night school-w/ helena, 30 mins. Core Power Yoga abs video b4 school w/ Helena, 30 mins. of Naked Core Dance Yoga...nothing sexier than watching your curves move and Love them! (after school at night...lots of sweat!)= 3 workouts today. :D! Yea!

29- Friday: 30 mins. of Suana w/ Yoga Moves in there-tons of sweat @ Ballys -w/ Ivette and Coco-b4 work (Day one of morning Gym!) 30 mins. of Arm weights and some Butt Reps on Machines-circuit

30- Saturday- No Exercise

31- Sunday- 4.5 mile Run only because my foot chafed with New Shoes. :(

32- Monday: 10 mile run @ Balboa--on the new 10 mile course. :D! (a little tendon issue on right leg and tendon on left bottom foot! :(), 20 mins of Sauna with Yoga moves in there.

33-Tuesday- 30 min incline walk on the treadmill at 8.5 incline and 2.9 speed (recovery for tendon)..after work, b4 school.and 30 mins of Sauna...(massaging leg in there.).-with Coco at Gym..Doing that this whole week.

34-Wednesday--RECOVERING TENDON--REST

35-Thursday- RECOVERING TENDON--REST

36: Friday-Morning Gym-supposed to go with Christine. She overslept. 30 mins. Walking on tReadmill..2.9 speed..6.5 incline. 30 mins of Arms, some back, legs, and abs weights, 30 mins. of HOT Sauana and rubbed leg and did yoga in there.
---moved to Saturday--PLANNING MY 20 MILE RUN !!!...MY FIRST ONE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D!!

37-Saturday- 5 hours of cleaning car, house, and washing clothes up and down stairs & wearing Sauna Belt on legs!! hhaha...sweat!

38-Sunday- 2-2 1/2 hours- Kayaking and snorkeling in San Diego. Definitely an arm workout!! ! Super Fun!

39- Monday- Rest--

40- Tuesday- Rest--wore my stomach band all day and legs-


41- Wednesday- Went to the gym and the butthole didn't let me in without my id @ 6:30 am!--wore my stomach band all day.

42-Thursday-Jillian Michaels 20 mins Body Shred video---TONSSSS of sweat and 5 mins. of Yoga.

43-Friday- None

44-Saturday- 35 min. Hike on HILL @ Laurel Canyon with 35 mins. of Arm exercises---SUPER SORE from Jillian Michaels!

45-Sunday- None

46- Monday- None--Holiday

47- Tuesday- None- went to the Bookstore to get motivation again in Health and Fitness

48- Wednesday- 30 mins of Sauna @ 11:00pm-with Arm Bands on and Yoga moves in there & went home 15 mins. of Stationary Bike w/ 3 -30 second sprints

49-Thursday- NONE

50-Friday--4.5 mile Run to the Hollywood Sign w/ 6 huge hills!...(Gearing into it again!)

51-Saturday-NONE-had my little brother all day

52- Sunday- Went on a 1 hour 5.5 mile run with Otis @ night w/ 10 mins of strecching before.

53- Monday- None-went shopping and decided to take a LONG bubble bath!

Thanks Ladies!!!...I actually had to move my run to today...and it's actually going to end up being 20 miles :eek2:!!!...My first TIME EVER!!!:ack2::reddevil::iamwithstupid::iagree::hurray: I'm starting to wonder if I'm crazy now too...hahahah....this is just insane running this much!! hahah!!!

...I'm scarred and intimidated & Excited :D all the same!and I bought anti-chafe cream today cause yesterday I wore my new shoes and put band aids on my feet without the chafe cream under...and BAD IDEA...ugggg......the moisure of the shoes and the band aids and the socks and the new shoes rubbing...set my foot on fire at 2.5 miles...so I finished at 4.5 miles in pain. SO RESCHEDULED AND HEALED TO TODAY!.... and I bought the Stick now so no excuses!!!...
 
I'm so excited for you! you are super awesome. i'm ready to make the leap to miles 4-6... nothing over 3.3 yet, i'm pretty sure i can do four.. but 5 and 6.... argh! i wish you all the luck and have fun!

Hey How are you Matt!!!?!?!...Thanks a bunch!!!

...Ivette has been doing good. Healing and recovering....for a while she had some complications and the stich went into her skin creating a hole the size of a quarter..and they had to put some machine there that looked like a gameboy/dvd player hanging off her. She is fine now, but they didn't quite do the full job like she wanted in the front of her. Meaning they left like a pouch which she is really unsatisfied with, so she is going to get that surgery done as a touch up which she feels the doctor owes her...(which he does) for free...soooo...yeah in December she will be under another surgery.

I pray for her!...I'll tell you though... that we did start going to the gym in the morning a few days ago. So hopefully that one time event will continue. She is trying to get back on Cohen, and her sister got out jail so she is doing good now. I think sometimes though, it's tough, and the closer we get to our goal,....we start analyzing things more and becoming more unsatisfied.

...I hope she comes back in here too!!..:) thanks for coming by Matt!! It's always great to see your smiling face!!! ;)
