Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

I'm so excited for you! you are super awesome. i'm ready to make the leap to miles 4-6... nothing over 3.3 yet, i'm pretty sure i can do four.. but 5 and 6.... argh! i wish you all the luck and have fun!

So my 20 mile run yesterday turned into a 10 mile run only because my tendon was acting up and since I had chafed my foot the day b4, it wasn't doing that great either!!! UGGGGG

....so then when we finished we went to Ballys and did 20 mins of Yoga moves in the Sauna to really sweat some!.and I AM SORE TODAY, especially my tendon :(.;)!!!

....we rescheduled the 20 mile run, I think to this Saturday~!!! I really need to get this run in, to build mileage. Gonna do a lot of Sauna and Yoga this week..and maybe little baby runs here and there. Maybe not. Depends. I do have time until the Marathon Oct 11. still but honestly, I want to get cumfy with doing 20 milers every other weekend at least!!!...or maybe every 3 weeks!..and the point of that is so that ...I could be smooth sailing the first 1/2 marathon and 13.5 miles done, down,...with no sweat off my back! (hahah...not really...I do sweat though :D)!!!...it's the words though...the WORDS!!! hahah!!!

...still happy that I'm moving though...and this tendon that is acting up is the same one from my previous injury in March...so CAREFUL CAREFUL ALTA!...yesterday it was pitch BLACK DARK at night when we finished 10 and decided for safety to reshcedule and honestly my body was talking to me....and I WAS LISTENING :D!

....safe and happy healing...going to the Sauna a couple times today and going to rub it out with heat and maybe rub some of that HOT/COLD stuff on it!...:iagree:!

.....the woes of a RUNNER!...hahah! ;)!

OMG....b4 I forget!.......

...yesterday I had a beautiful sign from GOD..that I am on the right path...cause check this out ...!!

...So in the morning I get to work,...and months back one day, while sitting and eating a bread bowl at Catalina Island...I sat there and to my right hand on a lonely trash can, was this Beautiful Yellow book with Flowers on it...and it said : STEPS TO CHRIST!!! :Angel_anim:...I love the book..it's a youth revisited version that explains the bible...but anyway....to go on...

...Yesterday at work, I got here, and saw the book in my drawer at the bottom, and every now and then,..almost everyday..I will flip open the book to any page and just read...and know that GOD wanted me to read that page at that moment!! :iagree:!!!...So I open it and it says something about ....Having Joy & Appreciation and that SHOWING GOD that you love and Praise him should not be a chore of any sort and he will clothe us and warm us!!!...:D! WOW!...I thought it was GREAT!!...so I decide to revamp my desk and made room on the top of my desk and put GOD where I could see him at all times, next to my SCREEN & PROUD!... :Angel_anim:

...so as I'm sitting...thinking about my run that day..20 miles...I'm scarred and intimidated...I realized that I needed a Running Shirt...cause I brought pants, a bra, and shoes, and socks...but NO SHIRT.

...the Day before I even started thinking that : AM I CRAZY RUNNING LIKE THIS?!!?!?!...and let it go...

...so when I get home to my mom's house, to go visit and pick up mail, I open this LARGE BROWN bag that has my name on it from a church I once visited which they send via mail...and it said my name on it...and it was LARGE and PUFFY....:sifone:...so CURIOUS as I AM...I OPEN IT...and GUESS WHAT's inside?!!?!? :eek2:!!!


......A BLUE SHIRT...that says : ELEVAR, with beautiful design!!!"....which in Spanish means...:TO RISE HIGHER!!!!:drool5:

...I thought that was the BEST GIFT God could have send me...and there was no letter in there...no nothing...no one ordered it for me...my mom is in South Carolina...and IT WAS JUST GOD talking to me!!!...

...I Believe in SIGNS...and he told me to KEEP GOING...and HE GAVE ME A SHIRT TO PUSH ME FURTHER...HIGHER and KEEP CLIMBING!!!! I wore it last night on my run...and Knew that GOD was with us....with me....with all of us!!...!

....Life is AMAZING!!!...and I'm happy!!!!!!! It makes me wanna cry...that I'm Blessed enough to see his signs and APPRECIATE them...I'm NOT ALONE! :iagree:!:Angel_anim:.............and NEITHER ARE YOU!!! :D!

Went to the Gym yesterday. Walked 30 mins. incline at 8.5 at 2.9 speed. It felt good to sweat a little and just walk..nothing more. :chillpill:..My tendon is sore...and tight....so I just went into the Sauna for 30 mins. and rubbed Hot/Ice on it....

..This morning too I rubbed it..and I'm about to go rub on some more again...I HOPE IT HEALS!!!!!!!:iagree:
 
Back at it today...went to the Gym this morning...took it WAY EASY..just walked 2.9 speed, 6.5 incline.

....30 mins. 6.5 incline. No real sweat here...

....30 mins of interval weights, arms, legs, abs, back....
....30 mins. of HOT sauna with Yoga Moves in there the whole 30 mins. (Stretching leg as well with HOT/ICE)

..I feel that I look slimmer..my arms last night while I was sitting looked way more tone..but then again...it could be my imagination!!!..hahah!! :D!...My abs are getting there inside all the fat....but I feel them trying to RIP out! hahah! ;)!

....this weekend was a BLASSSSST!!!!!!!!!!....SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!..............

On Friday me and my honey just rented these movies that they place outside of 7-11 Conveniant stores for $1 :eek2: for one day!!!...An amazing deal at that!!!...Great Selections...so we got 2 movies! ...made our own dinner and had a great night in together!! Ahhhhhh I live for Fridays! I'm always so beat down from the week and running and working and classes and essays and videos that SHIT...help me by Fridayssss!!![/B]



...Saturday...I cleaned my entire car to brand new CLEAN..and Empty..I threw out all the junk of FOREVER and a DAY...which worked up tons of sweat...and I washed clothes and cleaned the entire house...=5 hours! Fakkkkkk....;)...but it's DONE NOW..and I feel AMAZING!...Cleaned out my purse too!!!



...Then afterwards my running partner, my vegetarian friend, and my bf's couple friend came over and we all went to a MEETUP. If anyone hasn't ever been on this site ...it's AMAZING to get to know NEW PEOPLE!!..but yeah..I joined this meetup group who likes to go out and eat at different new restaurants and get DISCOUNTS :D!!!!...


...So we went to because we were all with the 40 other people to meetup too...the restaurant gives 15% off food and 40% off drinks :eek:!!!...I was being the SUPER AMAZING girlfriend that night and I treated my sweetheart to dinner and drinks (which he didn't drink cause he was driving us...;) ) and what would have normally been $85 was around $37 dollars! :D! Sweet!!!!...our friends enjoyed it and the people at the Meetup were SUPERB, and welcoming and happy and friendly!!! I personally love to meet new people...though my friends aren't the ones who would have naturally went out of their way to go and expose themselves like that to new people, they definately appreciated the fact that I am like that and that they got to benefit from meeting new people and MAINLY the discount!! hahahaha...:D!.....they are having a Karaoke meetup next week...maybe they want to come out again!!...

..After that we went to the Pasadena Jazz Institute and went to get some drinks and see my friend and her band perform Funk Jazz and we danced the night away!
I hadn't seen her in 7-8 months and it was special for me to see her!!

...SUNDAY WAS SUPERRRRRRR FUN!!!! :iagree: ...I had bought my boyfriend a package about almost one year ago from this site called Cloud Nine is the best because you can give someone an EXPERIENCE versus something they will shove in the closet or foreget about within a couple months!!...

...I bought him the Kayak and Snorkel through the San Diego Sea Caves!!! YAY!!!!!

...It was so fun!!...We swam with Tons of Sharks and Fish..and Kayaking is an ARM WORKOUT!!!...Damn were we working...I felt the GUNS forming hahah....for like 2 hours 2 1/2 hours...then I got sea sick :puke: for like 5 minutes and threw up off the side hahaha... and Ahhhhhh...much better..back to having FUN!!!!!!

....We drove around San Diego after....had a nice lunch that we shared....Drove to a cliff side where all these people lay out and go in the water. He layed down to tan his white butt..and I climbed down the rocks and got in the water which had amazing Sand Formations that looked like the Grand Canyon under your feet and the water splashing all around from the Ocean...& got a NICE TAN, ate ice cream, and drove some more...

..On our way back to La...we stopped by China Town and walked around...I got some cool Chinese shoes for $2.99 and a beach Roll for $3.25 that rolls right up....and we laughed and had not a care in the world...eating little junk snaks all day long....but watching my portions definitely!! & Got home watched a movie and ended with a BOwwwwwwwwChiccccccaBOWWWWWwowwwwwww night!! hahaah :reddevil:!!!

...so overall...we had an AMAZING weekend..and I treated my little bear to great fun, which he ALWAYS treats me to!! ...makes me feel good to treat him!! He deserves it!

...and THIS MORNING: I walk out to find 2 parking tickets $25 for no plate in the front...and $50 for parking the wrong way on the street...which I can contest that like 10 other cars were too...but WHY DID I GET THE TICKET!!?!?! uggggg.....the street divides into two sections and you can literally see cars parked both ways all over it...so which side is it...?!?!! Good Morning to you too!..What a cherry to top my weekend!!!! Pttttttrrrrrrrrr

32- Monday: 10 mile run @ Balboa--on the new 10 mile course. :D! (a little tendon issue on right leg and tendon on left bottom foot! :(), 20 mins of Sauna with Yoga moves in there.

33-Tuesday- 30 min incline walk on the treadmill at 8.5 incline and 2.9 speed (recovery for tendon)..after work, b4 school.and 30 mins of Sauna...(massaging leg in there.).-with Coco at Gym..Doing that this whole week.

35-Thursday- RECOVERING TENDON--REST

36: Friday-Morning Gym-supposed to go with Christine. She overslept. 30 mins. Walking on tReadmill..2.9 speed..6.5 incline. 30 mins of Arms, some back, legs, and abs weights, 30 mins. of HOT Sauana and rubbed leg and did yoga in there.

40- Tuesday- Rest--wore my stomach band all day and legs-


41- Wednesday- Went to the gym and the butthole didn't let me in without my id @ 6:30 am!--wore my stomach band all day.
Alright!!! Time to pick it up ALTA!!! ...hopefully today will be the day for that!!!
