My new low carb lifestyle!!!!!
LMAO!!!!!!!!......

cheeeeater!!!?!?!?!
....not me you.......!!! I am so happy to say....that I
think I'm losing weight again!!!!!!!!! I know that "low carb lifestyles" are hard to lead for a longevity of time!??!?! ....
so I thought!!! Until I found this wonderful little cookbook, that has all these
AMAZING recipes that are within the carb brackets that I want to stay at for the moment! My vegetable intake and variety is SOOOOO YUMMY now and has increased, as has my water intake.
....SO after some research, I found out that I myself like a lot of other people I'm sure had misconceptions about this "low carb" lifestyle because then what does it leave me with to eat other than the typical ..."CHICKEN, FISH, MEAT, CHEESE, EGG"...and those can get pretty boring 2-3 days into it.....cause you run out of recipes to make those in an instant right?!?!.

....So, then who can really lead this lifestyle for that long without "SMACKING BOREDOM"!?!?!
......Well, I found out that a low carb lifestyle does
not mean "no carbs"...because for example vegetables, salads, etc. have carbs as well.

So, with a "low carb" lifestyle, ....you don't have to EAT BORING EVERYDAY.....you don't have to increase your PROTEIN intake, or gorge yourself on protein and fat, but a lot of people,....(myself included) thought that it was all about that. I did do research and found that Atkins most resembled what I was trying to entail doing on my own...:
ELIMINATING THE SUGAR, THE SALT, THE CARBS, all of it....just no guidance on it.
Since I was doing it on my own, without knowing and I was already BORED, CRAVING LIKE CRAZY at day 2 of doing it on my own...I decided to do more research as to what "ATKINS" was
really about! I learned that there are
phases of which will lead you back into a lifestyle that is sustainable for LONGEVITY, which I didn't know.
I thought that people just stay at "
NO CARBS, HIGH PROTEIN, HIGH FAT" for the rest of their life and come on WHO CAN REALLY DO THAT RIGHT!?!!...well ya.....I was wrong...
Example :
**
Induction Phase (14 days)---cleaning your system of carbs, sugars, excess salt....( naturally this phase is the best because you see RESULTS, you introduce variety of vegetables, You'll Say Goodbye to Bad Carbs and Say Hello to Feeling Good..., You'll REV Up Your Metabolism and Start Burning Fat..)---20 grams of carbs--per day
**
OWL Phase (ongoing weight loss)---you stay in this phase until 10lbs away from goal-(nuts, fruits, seeds come back in, you add more carbohydrates, your weight loss slows to a steady pace per week, knowledge grows, and confidence that you can do this grows)---(25 grams of carbs per week starting, and 5 carbs added per week to adjust, and if at about 40-45 grams per day...weight loss continues.
**
PRE MAINTENANCE PHASE--(eating is automatic now, you feel empowered, losing is slower now, adjust to life time maintenance with more carbs introduced-whole grains, high fiber cereals, oatmeals, fruits)--55 carbs per day
**
Lifetime Maintenance Phase--(you've done it, reached goal, find a carb equilibrium to maintain normally for life, feel great to never have to try another DIET again)
.....I really don't understand how all this food can be so good and allowed

on an Atkins lifestyle....!!! Well like I had said before, I originally wanted this for a "short" period in my life, to shock my system back into my weight loss, but after a lot of research....I figure that this is something that I can maintain for a LIFETIME!
...Recipes I've been eating this past week:
Portobello Pizza
Stuffed Zucchinies
Pizza Chips
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Pancake
Meatballs
Spinach Caserole
Stuffed Bellpeppers
Cocoa Desserts (like fudge)
Cheese Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
...

.......Hmmm.....I found this site in search of recipes. She has good recipes on her site, some good economic cookbook, and is pretty impressive her she has maintained this lifestyle for 7 years now! I know that a "low carb" lifestyle is for "me" because, years ago now, when I originally lost 50 lbs---it was on HERBALIFE! Same low carb concepst....SHAKE FOR BREAKFAST, protein and veggies for lunch, SHAKE for dinner! OKAY, so yesssss...I DID IT!!! I lost the weight, never reached GOAL completely,....I would maintain at 142-139.
.....BUTTTTTTTT....I GOT SICKKKKK

of the damn shakes by that time! I didn't KNOW what kinds of foods to eat, since SHAKES don't really teach you that,....which will maintain a LIFESTYLE for you to live on, not just a diet, and I don't wanna have to have shakes for BREAKFAST for the rest of my DAYS either! Hence, I started eating normally, carbs and all,...maintained at 145 for 2 1/2 years and I gained it all back, with more alcohol, no exercise, more eating CARRRRBS, and SWEEEEEEETS!!! So yes, had I been taught from inception and given guidance towards foods from the beginning, and recipes that I would love to eat for the rest of my life...I probably would have never "FOUND ALL OF YOU"

....because I would have been able to tackle the "MARKET"....as it is intimidating if you don't know what the HELL TO BUY with no direction as to what to eat, and no list! I would have been able to keep and maintain a lifestyle, and keep the WEIGHT OFF!!!!
....I'm not to say, that this is the best option for everyone, but for me, I think it is....I'm loving it!!!

......I haven't weighed in, but this week alone...one week into it....I have been getting SWARMMMED with COMPLIMENTS from people who know me, saying "WOW, you look great, you are losing weight"...and from people I don't know,...telling me "HEY, LOOK GOOOOOOD"!!!......hahahahah....I must say, I LIKE IT

....it's getting me happier, and I don't want it to stop.....so "IF I DON'T WANT IT TO STOP, then I have to KEEP DOING the ACTIONS to get the RESULTS! "

.....so yeah...i think i'm melting!!! Oh yeah.....below is a link of the Portobello Pizza...hmmm.......and the recipe.......!!!!
