Did your man go to Burning Man? I heard about the dust storm on Saturday...hope he didn't get caught up in that.

I'm glad you had a restful week to recoup and spend QT w/the family. How is this week starting off? I hope you have a great week!!

Yeah he DID!!!! The first for 2 days they left, they had to go to the desert but not burning man yet, to film a clip/scene for an independent film the group he was with had to do. It was pretty cool, because there was this HUGGGGE BOAR my stepdad made out of an old volvo, and converted it into a huge iron boar with teeth and two story and that carried people!!! So they used that for the film, and then they headed out to Burning Man with the Boar....!!!! He did tell me about the Huge STORM they got into and he said it was CRAZYYY sand everywhere, in your mouth, in your eyes, and that at points, it was sooooo bad...YOU COULDN'T even see your HAND!!! Scarrrrryyy!!...LOL

...the group of people he went with are really cool people, all of them artists, producers, photographers of small independent things, you know!...LOL...one couple was soooo into the Burning Man, that this is where they got engaged and married.....so this was ANNIVERSARY time baby!!!.....;) ......They probably left with like 7 people from here and met up with some people from Pennsylvania and Santa Cruz, so there were around like 12 of em!.....

...oh man....the FUNNY stories he told me....they even had a baby nerd girl become a topless guitar singer......so the married chick wasn' too happy with that considering the girl was her husband's friend....! And she even had to take it to the point of "What the FUCK, do I gotta SHOW U ALL MY TITS, to get some FUCKN help around here.....?!?!?"...:smilielol5:......hahhaahah....yeah, I could see why she got a little butt hurt, when all the men are drooling over the chick, not attractive, but STILL NAKED with TITIs in the AIR ya KNOW!!! ;)....hahaha....but SHE WASN'T the only naked one around!..LOL.....but yeah, they ended up staying for 3 days at Burning Man!.....

...the whole thing sounded cool to go to, but it sounded like more tough times than Good Times ya know!....we'll see if I wanna go some other year!

Some More Pics....also, the cool thing is there are COMMUNITY BIKES everywhere that are Green, you just pick em up and leave em everywhere and anywhere cause there are hundreds of em...!!!! hahaha....HOW COOL! ;) Oh yeah.....my bf, doesn't like Hallucinations but EVERYONE ELSE here does!!! So one can Imagine how crazy this must all seem.....LOL!!! :iagree:

Awesome. I am so there....in 2010, I have very feeble vacation periods. Next year is Australia. 2010 is me running naked through Burning Man on massive hallucinogens. Haha, juuuussssst kidding :rolleyes:
 
WOW!! That Boar is fricken awesome!! It's amazing how creative people get. All the pics you posted are amazing. I so want to go next year. I almost went w/Tri this year. He has a good friend that has went every year for the last 9 years....he invited us. But you know the history w/Tri and I. It was impossible for us to get away for a whole week to be in the desert sweating to death w/no showers. I couldn't imagine going 7 days w/out a shower!! Do you know how gross I would feel? Forget sex...that would just be wrong. hahaha

hahahah.....YOU know what is HILARIOUS, is that my BF was saying that there is this truck that drives by slowly right, and SHOOTS water off, and then people come running behind the truck some with soap in their hands,.....and they JUST RUN BEHIND the TRUCK and get water splashed as they run.....:smilielol5:...and WHALA a SHOWER!!!...LOL.....

BUT most people take like these HUGEEE BUCKETS, that have alloted amounts of water for the day, and that way you can shower....you are STILL DUSSSSSTY though, so not much good there....and YEAH....I dunno about the SANDY SEX!!!! LOL!!!! ;)...or COME BACK A "RASTA".....JAGGGA MAAAANNNN!!!! LOL

....I know, Imagine how you would feel a whole week after being with TRI there.....together.....sandy....and EVERYONE there he said, was on something....FUNNY huh...IMAGINE you and TRI go TOPLESS and SWINGING.....HHAHAHA.....SWINGING LOW I mean....LOL! ;)!!! YOU'RE Burning Man is SHOWING!!! I know...it does sound COOL though....too long for me, maybe half the time....3 days sounds cool...4 max!

...Me personally, In those types of environments, I would probably try something ROTTEN like MUSHROOMS....LOL.....but then again....I dunno, the weird shit he told me was going on SOUNDS CRAZY enough to trip out on WITHOUT any of that! LOL!!!!
