Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

Alta, I'm not sure if you have a Costco near you or are a member, but they have these Organic Burritos that are bean, rice and cheese and are only 260 cals and 1.5G Fat. If you are a member or know a member, you should try them out, they are great. It's Cedarlane Organic Burritos (you may can also find them elsewhere).

Just thought I'd share, and congrats on all that running and losing those inches.

OH my gosh I doooo HAVE a COSTCO nearby and it's funny that you mention those BURRITOS :drool5:.....cause yesterday as I went to Trader Joes (a healthy market) down here....they HAVE THE YUMMY :drool5: samples and I was telling my BF how ONE TIME they had these delicious CHICKEN///BEAN/CHeeSe Burrito ones.....HAHA it ended up being little TUNA WRAPS yesterday.....:) and I scarfed Down like 3 of them there:ack2:
...but I WILL DEFINITELY TRY THEM since you SAY THEY ARE ORGANIC!...the food just tastes a little bit better for you knowing that it is.......:iagree:
 
Soooooooo Sore!!

My legs are KILLING me....one I am SOOOO SORE....and TWO this damn baby tendon on the back of my right leg is MURDERING me slowly :ack2:....I been stretching for like 20 min. before my runs and thats helping a bit....I am putting that ICY HOT rub every night....but I'm still hurting a bit...MORE so when I am DONE and HOME that the PAIN :ack2: kicks in!

Soooo BAD sometimes...I feel like a TRUCK just ran into me and my.. WHOLE BODY :driving:.....BUT I TELL MYSELF THAT I am a champion :icon_bs: and I CAN DO IT.....sooooooooo YESTERDAY, I decided to take it easier and WALK IT OFF....

EXERCISE for YESTERDAY: 40 min. walk on a MOUNTAIN 1 mile down and ...
.....what must go down must come up,...and one
1 intense mile back up :ack2:...(my LEG :cuss:)

30 minutes of 5lb. HOOLA HOOPing (watching TV)
10 minutes of MAT STRECHES

.....I DID TAKE IT EASY and DIDN"T PRESSURE MYSELF.....

THAT was YESTERDAY....TODAY....I plan to do a 4.5 mile and GYM with cardio....I am FEELING a LITTLE BETTER and STILL RUBBING all DAY ....!!

I also took some pictures of MYSELF and saw a little difference compared to the ones I took about one month ago....ENOUGH to keep me motivated SOoooooo....here I AM GIVING it my ALLLL for the DAY!!! :conehead:.....LOL........


Food for yesterday: Tofu and 4 egg whites in morning (300 cal) (3.5gms.fat)
3 Juicing/SHAKES throughout the DAY by 6:00pm (1050 cal)
*dinner was late cause of all the exercise....9:30 pm.....:ack2:
*I generally go to sleep 12:30-1:00am.....just lands that way..?
1 veggie burger (120 cals...no meat) 6grms. fat
1 Light string cheese (60 cals) 2.5grms. fat
1 Light 100 cal. Bag of Chocolate Chip Cookies (100 cal) 2.5g fat
1 8oz cup of APPLE JUICE (120 cals)...26grms. sugar..:(

= 1750 cals with about 15-17grs. of fat (ooops it all came from din)

I was going to do my shake because I KNOW I shouldn't EAT at night....but I wanted the Veggie Burger sooo bad and I figured since I don't go to sleep right away ANYWAY and NOT TO MENTION I am trying to SHOCK my body by Exercising a LITTLE bit less and GIVE IT MORE CALORIES...because I realized that I was in STARVATION mode....so I FORGIVE MYSELF!!! :iagree:....hahah

Now lets GET THESE LBS...OFFFFFFF!!!!

I have a baby margarita recipe for you to add to your list.

100 Calorie Margarita

6 oz Sierra Mist Free
1 Shot Tequila (1.5 oz)
1 packet Crystal Light Lemonade (don't mix with water first-add dry packet)
1 Tsp. Lime Juice from Concentrate

Mix together, pour over 1 cup of crushed ice.

I recommend squeezing 1/4 fresh lime juice in it to add that extra zip.

I tried it, and it's pretty tasty for a low cal margarita.

Recipe courtesy of Weight Watchers, I got it at a meeting.

2 Jaiva (imitation crab) Tostadas (the damn tostada! was the bad)
1/2 shrimp cocktail (not bad.......i think)
Mc DONALDS crispy chicken strips (shared them but STILL bad)
2 servings of PINKBERRY frozen fat free in ONE day
---I get the medium GREEN TEA with CHOCOLATE chips and strawb...
---the frozen yogurt there has 150 cals.......?chocholate?
---YUP had that 2x in one DAY!

**IT REALLY PISSES ME OFF THAT GAAAADAAAMN MCDONALDS IS RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO WHERE WE LIVE AND YUP, AT NIGHTS AND DRUNK they GET YOU.......BASTARDS** :(

didn't have any carbs but STIIIILLLLL something so good couldn't
be GOOD for you...so I'm REPORTING!

To top off ALL of this WONDERFUL CHEATING...........my tendon has been acting up last week, so NO EXERCISE thur,frid,sat, and TOO HOT both Sat and SUN...........THIS IS KILLING ME PEOPLE........I want to run so bad, but everyone KEEPS telling me I'm going to RUN myself to a SERIOUS injury that'll put me out of commission for a minute........so maybe that's where all the depressed cheating came about from, no exercise, sluggish feeling, boredom, anger that I can't keep going, anger that I have had to KEEP putting of my 13.5 miles for one reason or other,but I DOOOOOO PLAN to come back full and STRONG tomorrow!

I realllllllly do NEED to cut out the ALCOHOL!...I need HELP and tips on what to tell myself when confronted and WEAK mainly, what to tell myself when the STRONG comments don't WORK and I'm WEAK and in the PROCESS of breaking!!!! :iagree: HEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!

Hopefully I didn't put back on all my baby weight lost! My cheeks DO look PUFFIER, but then again I heard Alcohol not only makes you gain weight but makes you look BLOATED! So much for all them :cheers2: CHEERS huh!
 
It's Monday and a great time to get right back in the saddle. Are you restricting yourself too much during the week so that come the weekend your body wants to binge? OR are you just caught up in old routines of social eating and drinking on the weekends? It's hard to break old habits. It really helps to find something that will motivate you and help you during those tough choices.

This Saturday at my nephews birthday the meal consisted of pepperoni and olive pizza and combination pizza. Topped off w/cup cakes and chocolate cake. Appetizers were 7-layer bean dip, hummus, and a veggie tray. I snacked on the veggie tray and ate several bites of the hummus and bean dip w/whole wheat tortilla chips. I DID manage to completely avoid the pizza and cake. My motivation? DATING!! The thought of the first impression I needed to make and I didn't want a big bloated gut from all carbs and sugar. LOL

I also want to feel good naked in day light in front of a new guy...another strong motivating factor.

Find something you can focus on in times where you have to make difficult choices.

Down Sizes and DOWN lbs!

Sooooo I'm here to report ........THE WEIGH IN yesterday.............:gnorsi:


I LOST 2 LBS! :party:

Which at first I was not too SURPRISED cause of all the cheating I've been doing, what do you expect right! So all in all I"M HAPPY I LOST ANYTHING!!!

Yesterday I ran 4.5 miles: CHANGED the workout a bit and did Sprints and
Walked and SPRINTS and WALK
the whole way not to mention it was 93 degrees at
6:30 PM!!! :svengo: I was hot!!! California 4 YA!!

30 min of BICYCLE at the GYM:
Same thing did SPRINTS on the BIKE and slowed
my PACE to change it up--SWEATING LIKE A PIG!

TONIGHT: I plan to NOT RUN (not to mention while running yesterday this
annoying little baby muscle string above my
right ankle HURTS when I walk or stretch it,
so last night and today ICE all day on it hope
it goes AWAY, I'm telling ya if it's not ONE thing
it's ANOTHER! :banghead:)
TONIGHT: I PLAN to.................

....so because of that 1 hr "AIR CONDITIONED" Reaction CYCLING at BALLY's..
30 min of UPHILL walking @ 13 incline 3.2 speed NO HANDLES
....then I'll see how I feel about any extra CARDIO, but I will most likely do
a 20 min. PILATES video at home with 5 min. of weighted 5lb. HOOLA HOOP
for the waist!

NOWWW.........THE GOOD NEWS is that I WAS AT SIZE 13 pants and YESTERDAY I got out the SHOWER and SAW a pair of CUTE pants that were a SIZE 8 that I COULD NOT fit in BEFORE at ALL that my GRANDMA had brought me on her LAST visit!! I lOVE HER!!!!!!!!! And THEY FIT.....:party:......COMFORTABLY!!!! and somewhat LOOSE!!! SIZE 8 for ya, at least in ONE manufacturer's EYES! :smilielol5:

ALL in ALL.....I"LL take it FOR WHAT IT IS and BE HAPPY that I"M MOVING ALONG :driving:.........NOW I just need TO DROP some MORE of these LBS, STOP the CHEATING, no more ALCOHOL, at least until my BABY half marathon, then MAYBE I'll let myself CELEBRATE a LITTLE, also I"M back on the SHAKES and CHICKEN strips so PROGRESS here I COME!!!

Great job girl!! 2lbs??!!! FANTASTIC! I bet you would have been down more but you probably retained a little water from all the carbs you ate over the weekend. Keep at it!!

So I've decided TO SHOCK my body as others of you HERE have been "influencing me" ;) to do!!! So yesterday day 2 of shocking system!!

I changed my whole EATING approach and WORKOUT approach!

I am going to mix up just like I originally was TOFU and egg whites for BKFST every other day and shakes the rest, chicken tenders as snacks, nuts allowed once daily not everyday to try and mix the protein, and SHAKES SHAKES SHAKES...!! VITAMINS!!! HOT GREEN TEA!!! WATER WITH FRESH SQUEEZED LEMON JUICE!!!

Yesterday EXERCISE: 1 HOUR SPINNING/CYCLING class at BALLYS -kicked me!

2 hour break went to Trader Joes market bought stuff...dinner.......LONG rest.

.......MORE EXERCISE.......... 10 MIN of 5LB Weighted Hoola HOOP
23 MIN of THE BIGGEST LOOSER video Total
BODY workout with 10lbs weights

I was pooped by that point!! I just want to get these 4 LBS off NOOOOOOW~

So I'm DOING THIS EVERYDAY and since ON DEMAND there are over 30 different workouts to choose from EVERYDAY I'm doing it for ONE STRAIGHT week!!! AS THE TRAINER at BALLY's SAID and the the TRAINER on the BIGGEST LOSER vides (a cute happy skinny guy;) said, "THE GOOD THING IS THAT YOU GOT YOURSELF THERE!! YOU"RE DOING IT" WHETHER YOU COULD BE DOING IT BETTER,...........DOESN"T MATTER...............YOU"LL GET THERE!! JUST KEEEEEEEEEEEEP MOVING!!!!"-----:leaving:

SO THERE it is LADIES and GENTS :party: the PLAN OF ATTACK!! :smilielol5:

Are you getting any fruits or veggies into your diet? Are you putting fruit in your shakes? Just want to make sure you get some nutrients in that new meal plan of yours. :) Vitamins are great but don't cut too much of the good stuff out.

Great job on the work out videos. It's always fun to switch up our workout routines and feel sore the next day. I have some Winsor pilates DVD's collecting dust that I should throw into the DVD player and do. They really work when I do them!
 
OH yeah I"VE been ACTUALLY putting more FRUITS into the shakes:

I just bought more YESTERDAY:

APPLES/ORANGES/MANGO/PINEAPPLE/STRAWBERRIES/RASBERRIES/BLUEBERRIES
and BANANAS--------

Lately I've been picking about 4 of the fruits and PUTTING it in the SHAKES along with the VANILLA Soy PRotein Powder, the Psyllium Seeds aka FIBER, and ICE! No sugar! ANd I've been doubling the PROTEIN intake in the shakes so it'll help me meet the minimums............to not starve my body :ack2:

And I've gone back to incorporating at VERY VERY least one whole cups of steamed or grilled veggies daily, usually at night, like I originally did the first 6 weeks and lost more weight! So I think trial and error, but Also I AM INCORPORATING more CALORIES daily especially on the DAYS I work out I TRY and do at LEAST 1600 but push it up to 1700 (trying)

I figure IF I LOOSE SLOWLY oh WELL,.........IT"LL JUST BE FOR GOOD!
 
Nice! The shakes you are doing actually sound really good when I think of the fresh fruit you add in. Again, I really admire your will power. I couldn't do shakes every day. But when you are determined I guess you can do anything you put your mind to!!!

Great job on the serving of veggies at night. They'll be extremely low cal and will help you feel full and satisfied :)

Sounds like you got the right idea. Now just stay away from the chicken wings and Sparks!! You can do it!!
