....I made it through ANOTHER day, withOUT ALCOHOL,......nowww IF I COULD just make it THROUGH today, then ANOTHER WEEK baby, and I'm ON THIS!!!......

Girl, stay strong!! I've been sober 4 days!! LOL I don't plan on drinking until Monday. Got to space it out!

Think about kicking Big Mac's ass and drop your drink.
 
Yeah right, Alta doesn't have the willpower to go another 12hours without drinking. Much less til monday. Might as well be tellin the moon not to come up tonight.

Haha, it's the weekend. Just a lucky guess. I know you'll be lookin great come Vegas time though. We all have our days.

We all need a drink now and then. LOL Beer has so many carbs and calories, you have to find a substitute, so you can still get your drink on! Even wine would be much better, way lower carbs.

Do you need my 100calorie margarita recipe again? LOL
 
Oh shiat! And I was going to have a few beers at the beach today but I would like to minimize the carbs. Didn't even think of all those evil carbs..

YOU know I THINK I DO.......SHOOT it TO ME....I loveee MARGARITAS...haven't had one in AGES!!! I knowwwww beer is HORRIBLE with that.....:(
 
It's clear that alcohol as much as we LOVE it, LIVE for the taste on our lips, run to the bar each weekend...it's just not healthy for us. We have got to find a way to find a "mo betta" alternative that works. Clearly alcohol is EMPTY calories that provide no nutritional value what so ever (w/the exception of red wine but let's not go there)! But why do we love it so much? Hum....I treated myself to 1 Hornsby's Hard Apple Cider last night and boy was it good and helped me sleep. LOL

I don't have an answer here, just pointing out that the alcohol will derail our efforts to get to our goal weights if we don't get a handle on it. Especially since "most times" when we drink we follow it w/late night eating and let's get honest here...after midnight healthy food alternatives are scarce.

Like MJB said, we need to find low cal, low carb substitutes and start re-wiring our brains to drink different things (e.g. sugar free red bull and vodka, straight patron shot chilled w/lime, wine). The ciders and the beers are so filling and you have to drink quite a few to get and keep a buzz....

....and YOU GUYS have CONVINCED me to GIVE UP THE BEER.....for a long while....I'll take a SIP when I SEE IT...and JUST sip my VODKA and LEMON juice.....:iagree:
 
Thatta girl!! We are in this together!! My goal is to not drink the rest of the week. If I can get down to 149.9lbs next Saturday then I'll get downright trashed...haha. Ok, maybe not trashed but definitely buzzed!!

ALSO...just a little UPDATE.....2 months ago...right BEFORE I went on the CRUISE...I was able to SQUEEZE into a size 5 STRETCH jeans......STRETCH people....:smilielol5: BUT I had A LITTLE ROLL ontop....:( not sexy...

..this MORNING....I FINALLY fit into them AGAIN...and GUESS what...NO LITTLE muffing TOP ROLL ontop.......:sifone:..sooo MOTIVATION to keep GOING....wonder what ELSE I COULD fit INTO with another 10days of MOTIVATION and HARD WORK!!! :iagree:...LOTS....
