Cottage cheese

here is the website , you can see if they sell it in any stores near you, i live in ct and got it at stop and shop. i like regular cottage cheese also, but this one actually has a better taste as well as a better consistency

Darn, no listings for Texas. Oh well. Thanks!

You can get Friendship Cottage Cheese at Whole Foods stores. Hope this helps! Also, if you do a search for dry curd cottage cheese there's a site that shows where you can get all sorts of different brands of the same type.

Their website says it's available at a couple of the chain markets near me, including the one I shop at. But I don't ever recall seeing it there. (Not to say it wasn't there - just that I don't remember seeing it.)

well, i'm going to check at whole foods this weekend. until then, i'll just keep forcing myself to eat the small curd lol.

Try mixing in 20g of protein powder (chocolate or vanilla) and 1 tbsp. of low-sugar strawberry jam. Tastes great!

It's also nice to add just the low-sugar jam. Switch the flavors around and it will taste totally different from day to day.

And the protein powder + peanut butter mixture is quite good as well.

I eat 1% cottage cheese mixed with either cherry tomatoes (from my parents garden in the summer) or peaches. Its supposed to be full of glutamine and cassein.

I love it.

I am not a big cheese person BUT I eat 1/2-1 cup of Daisy Lowfat cottage cheese about 1 hour before bed. It's great solid slow digesting protein. When you are under-cutting calorie by a lot, anything will taste good; even cottage cheese.!!!

Isnt this the truth! :)

I am in my carb restriction period, and my wife was making home made fresh baked bread, yesterday. And, the smell was absolutely killing me! Water and one large lettuce (head) was my friend, very quickly, and then suddenly the urge left. I win, the bread lost.

Over.......

out......

LOL........

Best wishes,

Chillen

depends what you're trying to do honestly. i'd personally skip the bread, especially at night. cottage cheese before bed is a good way to get extra protein while you sleep.

probably not the best place to pose that question though.
