Cort's diary

Sounds like you are doing good. Maybr try to get a low impact workout tape. My hubby just bought me a stability ball and it is very fun. Should try something like that!

A low impact workout tape? Think you could name some for me, since most of the tapes I've seen are rather...err...high impact, to put it lightly. I'm waiting for my Ballet Workout dvd to arrive, and my mom is thinking about buying me a Belly Dance for beginners DVD.

OH, speaking of 'arriving,' my dad had ordered a real tricep pull down thingit (I've no clue how it works...) and it just came, so I have to wait till he gets home to set it up.

:(

:(

Uh oh...I found myself getting doubtful earlier. Dang mood swings. I read somewhere that weightloss is also connected with mental thoughts, so if you think "I'll never lose this weight!" then you won't, even if you try. SO, everytime I find myself thinking those thoughts, I'll think, "I WILL loose this weight, I will, I will," over and over and over again. It works, too...but the way my moods are swinging at the moment the doubtful thoughts keep coming back...:(

I think after mom gets up from her nap I'm going to go out for a walk...

bwuah hahaha...dark chocolate. Dark chocolate makes me happpppppy...*floats*

I'm getting out of my depressive mood. I've been nauseous almost all day long, so I didn't even go for my walk :( Ah well, tomorrow is friday, and it's weight day! YAY! So I'll just do 20 minutes on the tread mill (if it's still rainy) instead of ten, and then do weights.

Can't wait for my ballet dvd to get here!

I think I'm getting sick.

Not only is it that time of month again, but I've been nauseous today, as well as yesterday, not to mention I've no interest in eating. I know I should, so I'm trying to eat a tuna sandwhich, but now I feel like I'm going to throw up, and I've only had a couple bites. My throat is sore, too, and my head hurts. It may just be allergies, but it may be some kind of virus, or something. Not good :(

For exercise today I may just do a few minutes on the treadmill (I don't feel like going out for a walk), and then do some weights.

Thanks guys :) It makes me happy that people care :)

I'm not really feeling any better, just hungry for sweets...so I've been eating gram crackers and dark chocolate, but I couldn't eat any tuna...:(

At least I got over the 1500 calorie thing, so my body knows I'm not starving :)

I'll try to get back on track tomorrow, Sunday or Monday at the latest.

Wow this flu is not kind...I have had it as well
If its a flu
stay away from protien...viruses/bacteria loves it (ie no tuna)
Try toast, jello, vegatable broth, clear fluids....water, juices, jello

Hope that tummy is better soon

Thanks for the advice! Muchly appreciated, Jennifer :D

I'm feeling better today, slight headache, but I'm hungry.

Today's meals:

breakfast: n/a
snack: n/a
lunch: will be a lean cuisine french bread pizza thingit (300 some odd calories)
'dessert': some yogurt
snack: prolly some grahm crackers and milk
dinner: not a clue
snack: something with grahm crackers and dark chocolate, maybe.

Mmm, me too, Rosered...me too. Thanks everyone, once again :)

Okay, I'm ready to get back on track, tomorrow.

I'm going to be adding HIIT to my cardio...it's interval training, which is usually what I do on the tred mill (when I use it) anyways, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get into. It's just setting up a schedule.

I can't wait for my ballet dvd to arrive, I'm really phsyched about it.

Loss: 2 pounds this week, total of 7 pounds in two weeks. Not bad, but I was hoping for a loss of three-4 pounds this week. Ah well, I blame it on the weekend. *hisses* bad weekend, bad.

Okay, totally back on track today.

Breakfast (9.15): some grapes and yogurt, with a green tea supplement pill thingit, and a multi-vitamin.
Snack(10.30): some sort of fruit...
Lunch (12.00): probably some chicken and rice
snack (3.00): a fruit or yogurt
dinner: not a clue
dessert: fat free/sugar free pudding.

I need to add all that up, and see where my calorie intake stands, because just looking at it, it doesn't look like much, possibly a thousand or under, in which case I need to up it....gah.

exercise: a one mile walk (unless it's wet outside, in which case I'll use the tread mill and do 20 minutes of interval training). 20 minutes of weights (raising the time! booya!), and either a warm down on my mountain bike, or another tread mill walk.

I'm ready to get going...again!

Okay, I'm feeling awsome (just took a shower...yeesh it feels good to be clean!).

For my exercise, I did exactly what I said I would, and I feel great about it. About 20 minutes on the treadmill (ten before weights, ten after), and ended doing about a mile total. Then with weights, I did 20 minutes worth, and upped the amount (pound wise) on a couple exercises.

Breakfast: grapes and yogurt plus my one daily vitamen and green tea thingit.
snack: a couple grapes (quite litterally)
lunch: 4 chicken stripes boiled in terriaki, garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt, then cut up in little pieces, fried in some olive oil, and eaten with one baked potato and a serving of corn. (quite a filling lunch, I might add, not to mention tastey).
snack (after my work out): a packet of oatmeal that had raisens, walnuts, and dates in it (my gosh, I know that stuff has a lot of sugar in it, but it's sooo good! I might have to eat it all before someone else gets to it *laughs*)
dinner: little mini burgers with cheese and ketchup (if we have some) and a serving of corn.
snack: either oatmeal or a bananna.

Mmm, after I got out of the shower, I did my hair (it's short-ish, and fun to style) and put some make up on. Goodness, self-esteem booster!

Thank y'all :) *hugs* Y'all are what's keeping me motivated.

breakfast: oatmeal (120)
lunch: a smoked sausage (???) and a couple hard boild egg whites (34)
snack: part of a leftover smoked sausage (??)
dinner: BIG dinner. Some giant shell noodles (???), 5 chicken breast strips (150) (I had originally cooked some for mom, but she didn't want them), a red potato (120) and two hard boil egg whites (34). Good grief that was a feast.
dessert: 1/4 of a package of sugarless/fat free chocolate pudding mixed in 2% milk (about 80 calories)

total calories (est, because I don't know the cal.s of a couple foods that I ate): about 1000, I'm taking it. If I hadn't have eaten the smoked sausage stuff and noodles, it'd be 538, and I had small servings of everything.

edit: forgot to say my exercise.

10 minutes on tredmill (did half a mile), doing HIIT. I would have done more but I was about to collapse.

20 minutes doing weights.

Keep it up your doing really good with the cardio
