I was just wondering what the general thoughts on Cooper certs were? How respected is Cooper in comparison to others outside of TX?

I'm not sure outside of the Texas area but the individuals I know that have a Cooper certification(s) are knowledgable. The best bet is to go with a nationally recognized board-NSCA, ACSM

Interestingly enough....Ken Cooper is the uncle to my cousin's wife (my cousin's wife's dad's brother is Ken Cooper).
