Confused about what to do.

Hi everyone. So i checked my body fat today and it was at 22.5%. I'm about 175 pounds and my height is 5.10. 16 years old.

Now my goal is to basically lose fat but i don't want to be skinny or look boney if you no wat i mean. I want to look more buff, but not chubby. So I really don't know if i should do a lot of cardio because i'm scared ima get all skinny.

This is what i was thinking of doing

Monday - Wed - Friday = Weight Lifting
Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday - Sunday = Cardio (30 min run first thing in the morning followed by some jump roping)

I'm currently doing a split routine but i want to switch to a full body. so heres the routine im thinking about using on MWF.

Bench Press
Dumbbell rows
Pull Ups
Dips
Dumbbell military press
squats

and i'v been controlling my diet for about 2 weeks now. eating about 2000 calories daily. lots of protein.

so any suggestion that would help me torward my goal if you even understood what i was saying lol. yea so any suggestions or advice is highly appriciated. thanks a lots

You should lose the fat first before you try gaining muscle, i recommend doing atleast 3 days a week of cardio with 3 full body workouts a week to minimize muscle loss, once you lose enough fat you can think of bulking up to gain more muscle.

Can't do both at the same time
there are plenty of stickies that are very informative and will help you out

how much should i lose before starting a bulk? and would 30-40 minutes be enough for a cardio session? thanks for the advise Phate89

how much you lose before you bulk is up to you.
i would do HIIT cardio instead if i were you.
i say 15%bf is a good goal.
or whenever you can look in the mirror and say"its time to get bigger and stronger"

2000 sounds low for a 5'10" 16 y/o male...do you know your MT?
