Confessions of a food Junkie

welp, I've been doing pretty good. I went to the gym yesterday and burned 601 cals(gotta love that eliptical) and right before the gym i had drama class which was 1.5 hours of jogging, walking and other (sometimes strenuous) physical activity. Then I walked about a min of 2 miles.

I am soooo sore today. I ate ok. I know for sure I'm at about 1445 for recorded cals, then I have to add on 7 wings from when I went out to a study meeting. Other than that I got 10 servings of veggies and fruits, water, protien and complex carbs.
 
You so ROCK girl! I'm up to 45 mins on my machine and burning sixsomething too! I wish we lived in the same town we could be gym buddies. I keep thinking I'm doing the machine wrong or something...how can I burn that many calories so fast and it doesn't seem that hard to me. But monday I broke an awesome sweat (now I sound like a man) and I had a huge sweat stain on my back and my chest when I left. I felt, well aside from stinky, I felt awesome...theres pride in sweating sometimes...lol!

I always forget to write in here now because I'm always in da club hahaha.

It's going well. i'm going to up my calories to 1800 a day because I'm working for an hour on the elliptical.

Last week I burned over 2000 calories from working out on the elliptical. I'm super proud of myself.

This week, I'll be burning about 2400 or so calories on the elliptical to get my minutes in for the challange, plus all of my walking and such.
 
OMG!!!!!

I was feeling a little unsure of myself because my numbers haven't been going down lately and then I saw these jeans I haven't been able to wear since last christmas and I decided to try them on and they fit perfectly. I used to have to suck it in to do them up and then there was a roll over the top of them (ew LOL) but now they sit perfectly over my stomach, so even though the number isn't going down yet, my body is for sure!
 
I know what it feels like to look at the scale and not see it move for a long time. BUT, then, you look at some old clothes, try something on, and become pleasntly surprised that they fit. Your body is toning itself, and you're building muscle to replace the fat. Soon you'll be dropping noticably, and thats when you start to get really excited...at least... i did...:D Great work! Keep it up! You are doing soooo well!
 
Yea, I'm hoping for a good weigh in this friday. I just want to be under 310 sooo bad I can taste it! I haven't been under 308 for 3.5 years now and it would be my lowest weight in my (short) adult life. I just can't wait until I can finally say good bye to the 300s for forever! (hopefully by Halloween cuz that is my goal!):D

You've been working it out girl! I'm very proud of you and glad to see that you are well on your way. Just wanted to pop in to see what you were up to, miss you very much (miss this board very much), my classes keep me very busy and unable to visit as much. Anyhow, I pop in every chance I get..:D

I know exactly what you mean. I'm going crazy trying to get under 220. I don't even know when I was last under that, years at least.

I went to the gym today. I did the elliptical for 66 minutes, burned 890 calories and went 4.42 miles. I feel great!

For food today,

I had a meal replacement in the morning @ 145
8 oz of milk @ 130

total of 275 calories

1.5 cups of grapes
40 baby carrots
1 chicken caeser pita with sprouts, red peppers, cucumbers, and red onions.

(bad study break) 8 buffalo wings.

supper I had a piece of lasgna

I'm guessing I consumed 1900ish calories
 
Hey Miss K, God love ya for sticking in there and keep on doin' what you're doin'. When that body starts throwing out those old lbs, they're gonna come off in massive numbers.

well Thank yah T2!!!

Oh yea and my calories weren't even high yesterday. I have a doctors apointment on the 26th, but I was told that to lose weight at a safe weight of 1.5lbs a week, I'd need to consume 2250 calories with my level of activity.

I decided I want to lose a little more than 1.5lbs a week, so I'm trying for around 1800 calories but keeping it under 2250.

I have my 6 week Dr.'s appointment at the begining of next month - I'd like to crack 300... just so the Dr. can see that I'm serious about getting things under control. But look at you! You're doing great, keep it up! :D
 
well, hon, I'm rootin for you and your so kicking my butt on the elliptical. I'm going to have to step it up to an HOUR?!?! OMG! My toes go numb after 35 minutes. I had a dr. appt last thursday and the doc didn't even say anything about my weight loss...poop head! whatever, I'm doing this for myself right? Keep up the great work, I'm rootin for you, here you come two hundrends!!!!
