I was wondering what you guys' take on compound lifts are.
I've been experimenting with one in the hope that it will speed up my workout a bit
Lateral raise into a bicep curl into a shoulder press x 10 reps
That's actually called a "complex", because it involves two or more different exercises. A "compound" is typically one lift or movement that uses two or more muscles.
And...If you like it and it seems to work for you, keep doing it.
