Comparison photos...then to now.

I still have alot of work to do yet. I'm nowhere close to my goal, but I'm getting there. Plus, I really haven't posted any "updated" pics of me, so maybe this will give me the extra kick in the ass I need.

Prep yourself for some not so pretty stuff...

(Just an fyi, I slipped a disk in my back and it became swollen or something, so the doctors went in through the side, which is what the scar is from.)

Good news is, I'm about halfway to my long term goal, and I just surpassed my short term goal of being under 250. The first photo's I weighed in at 285, and now I weigh 247. Long term goal is 200. We'll see how the next few months go! Thanks for your time.

Big difference there! Keep up the good work!!

good job. Try tracking your waistline too. It seems like you lost a good 5+ incches off the waist.

^^I'll start measuring if i can find the tape.

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the support. Basically I followed the 3 important rules (to me) 1. Eat Healthy, 2. Exercise, 3. Be determined to change.

I based my diet off of the information here: http://training.fitness.com/nutrition/nutrition-101-a-32846.html

Exercise plan, I do Cardio monday thru friday, for 45 minutes. Monday, Wednesday, Friday I do full body workouts, and tues and thurs, I'll do cardio and just some basic body lifting, ie pushups, pullups, ect...

I'm going to start doing HIIT on tuesdays and thursdays and see how that works. Thanks for the input everybody!

Good luck with HIIT. I am excited for you. I prefer HIIT. Much more exciting and IMO much more productive. Who wants to sit on a bike for an hour watching tv at the gym?? May I ask how you plan to preform your HIIT?

well I'm not 100% familiar with HIIT, but from what I've been reading so far, I'm just going to do it right on the track at the gym or use a stationary bike. I'd like to incorporate the rowing machine because I think that would be a big difference maker, but I have to see how things work.
