Combining a Split and FBW Routine

I'm NOT going to try this but am just curious:

Monday: Chest/Triceps
Tuesday: Back/Biceps
Wednesday: Shoulders/Legs

Friday: Full Body workout with compounds...

Now i dont know much about splits so don't know if i divided the split correctly but my point is: this routine would allow you to perform the big compounds twice a week (once in the split section and once in the FBW section) as well as multiple isolation exercises for each muslce on the split days...

Is this stupid? Just curious

I was gonna do something similar actually. Im still considering it. I was thinking of doing some extra compound big lifts on my weekend workout. :)

If I'm not mistaken, many compound chest exercises use shoulders and back exercises also you shoulders so you may be over training them if you want to do compound exercises those first few days because you have chest monday, back tuesday, and shoulders wednesday, so that will be 3 days in a row and that is over training.

Please someone correct me if im wrong.

Depends on what you're training. I wouldn't do a FBW 3 days in a row, but could get away with a body part split without much trouble.
