cold showers after workout

yeah......im not sure but, ive seen that taking a cold shower does something like bring ammino acids to the muscle or something, saw it on TV a while ago. maybe its why surfers and swimmers are so cut up. im just wondering what it does if someone can explain it to me, if you know what im talking about.

yeah... not to sure about this one but the reason swimmers and surfers always look so "cut up" is they work out allot, and the very act of surfing and swimming builts lots of muscles

i know it does something with some acids in the muscle, and lactic acids seems right :\ oh but, so what does it do that is any good for you?

what i heard was..that showers, no matter cold or warm, as long as they relax your muscles, they take blood out of the muscles you just worked on, which defeats the purpose of working out--to force blood into your muscles.

I can be wrong too :p im juz a noob here

you could be right-its why im asking, but when you workout and your flexing your muscles, actually no blood gets to the muscles. im pretty sure. would that be a reason to do cardio after a hard workout?

Don't over-analyze, just work out intensely. Take normal tempearture showers, use cardio before or after; either one will work. It's not rocket science. Just get in there and work your butt off.

doing 10 little things that helps, is way better than not doing them at all. doing even that 1 little thing is better
