Hello everyone. I haven't been posting, but I am thrilled to read that there are so many doing so well!! And still new ones coming all the time. This program can change your weight and is worth every bit of perseverence. Some of you have lost a lot and that is absolutely fantastic. Don't ever think that it is an impossible task - it's simply not true! This works and if you can just wait out the time you will put the weight loss behind you.
I am getting closer all the time, and when I try on clothes I am rewarded and validated for sticking with it - but my goodness I will be glad when it is over!! Been SSSOOOOO long!!!
How are some of the 'old posters' doing? You have all been quiet too. Where are you the old me and gayegel? And Netski you are basically there - a huge congratulations to you!!
Thanks reb for asking about me (you are doing so well - be proud of your self plus plus!). When I finish I keep saying I am looking forward to so many things - milk in my tea and coffee, carrots, scallops, avocado ... my list keeps changing and growing. I look at some of my old favourites of cream cakes or mashed potato or a bread roll (all carbs and fats) and think yum, but the reality is that I think I could only actually enjoy them in small quantities anyhow. But I am not sure about milk, chocolate and rice ... still think they might be terrific.
When I finish, I will be going to 3 residential conferences back to back over 2 weeks, and only home for 3 nights in the middle. At the first there will be 3 nights of provided 3 course meals that should be scrummy!! Then I am on holidays for about 3 and a half weeks. I will be going to 2 states and travelling around as well as staying with others. I know where there are some top places I always wanted to go back to, some very ordinary cafes, buy out shops, and others a bit more special. The reality is, that wherever I go, the real treat will be the freedom to order whatever I want and to socially join in with others. It won't be about the things I can now eat that I love - but the freedom to choose my quantity and type of food as I want!!! So it is not about what I will actually eat, but more about being able to make the choice as I want. I am so looking forward to that. And not weighing food or waiting for 5 hours. The time can't come fast enough.
