cmw's personal "that girl" challenge

Content...but not satisfied.

I looked into the mirror today and realized that if I didn't lose anymore weight, that I could be happy for the rest of my life looking like I do. That was an amazing feeling. I tried on a dress I had tried on a couple of weeks ago and thought, "Damn, I look good." Then I thought, but what if I could get a flat tummy...I'm so close. And what if I could lose that last bit of arm fat and get Michelle Obama arms. Or, what if my thighs could be a bit more toned? It was at that time I decided to get off my ass and go to for a run.

But that feeling I had when I looked in the mirror was worth every sacrifice...every snack forgone...every sweaty day in the gym...every hungry tummy.

Congratulations on your progress! Its addictive isnt it? Everyone has their little slips, and pizza incidents, but as long as they are few and far between, they pale in comparison if you are on track the other days of your life. Its a compounding effort.

Thanks...

It is addictive! Yea, I just have to get over the "100% Ride or Die" syndrome. Like, weeks of healthy living...followed by a couple days of Indian food or pizza and then healthy living. Like I tend to do one or two bad days instead of one incident. *looks embarrassed* But I'm working on it...THANKS!

Yeah that's a hard one for people to get over. the "oh well I messed up already, I'll just start again Monday" attitude.

If I know I'm likely to get into a situation where there will be tempting food I like to plan ahead. I would cut calories during the rest of the day in anticipation of letting loose in the evening. Broccoli and chicken breast are my friends in those situations :)
