Club starting Wed Sept 7...

I cannot find any beginner tapes where I am. I even went online but I didn't really know what I was looking for so I guess that is why I didn't see it. It has been out so long they probably don't even make the beginner one anymore.

I don't know if you ever use it or not but you can check Ebay. Search for "instructional taebo" or "Basic taebo" depending on whatever you want. I just did a search myself and came up with a few results. That's where I got my Tae Bo videos. I'm a Tae Bo fan myself! :)

here's what I got
red box INSTRUCTIONAL Tae BO
blue box BASIC Tae BO
green Box 8-minute workout Tae BO

I borrowed them from an old friend and never saw her agin... so no their mine! LOL

Maybe I can make you a copy and send it to ya.... If you can not find them online

Tae bo IS hard. I have the beginner's Cardio dvd...oh my gosh...it's rough. First time I loved it. Second time I was iffy about it. Third time I really hated Billy for smiling. :p

LMAO YOu guys are great.... I did my Tae Bo for today and I feel like a million bucks, even though I have to mop up 10 gallons of sweat! LOL
(not really, but thats how I feel!)

Posting my starting weight.....308...( Iv'e lost 3 1/2 lbs since August 12th..yeah me)
The only thing is "George" will be visiting me in the next week in a half so I dont know how that is going to affect the scale.....
I am going to focus on water in take, try to watch my sodium, and make sure I work out AT LEAST 3 times a week....I am so excited!!!!....

Good old george... he's visited most of us end of last week into the beggining of this week. For some reason we are all almost on the same monthly scedule!

Never heard it called George. I have always said Aunt Flo is visiting with her cat Cramps and her dog Spot. Oh well, call me weird! I can honestly say I don't have to worry about that anymore. I had a hysterectomy in Nov 04, but unfortunately I am having problems with that as we speak... Aunt Flo's dog Spot just doesn't get the picture that he isn't supposed to be here and he won't move out  !

Oh! I thought George was a person! *dies laughing* Okay, I'm really slow and daft today! I usually just call it 'The Curse...' heh, or just plain and simple 'period' :p George is funny name for it *laughs*

Well 'George' just left...thank goodness. woo! And I'm much more entergetic now...yay!

George is gone from here too. I'm glad he did not overstay his welcome. Short visits are nice. LOL
Yeah, I never called it george either, but I totally knew what KC meant by it! LOL
The curse is a good one! LMAO

LOL George! never heard that one before either! I had a hysterectomy August 1997!!!!!! No more period! But I still have my ovaries, which means I still "cycle", but have no period. Does that make sense?

I hate "George" lol he just left here too! Although I don't call him George, Greg and I call him the Monthly Monster. LOL It just seems so fitting

GEORGE???? OMG ROFL!!! yall better consider yourselves lucky, i had 2 dam visits this month! grr.

Yep, it does make sense. I don't have my ovaries due to severe endometriosis and severe bleeding cysts all over them. But as strange as it may seem, around the same time every month I have what feels like ovulation pains on my right side only. My doctor said that since my endometrosis was so severe everything was stuck together and that there may be a very very tiny bit of one ovary left that they were unable to get and that if that is the case what is left of it will try to ovulate every month. I can never go through anything without some kind of problems in the end. I think I am just doomed when it comes to anything turning out smoothly. I mean, like right now, spotting like I am having a light period. I have done it ever since my hysterectomy because they were unable to remove my cervix due to the endometriosis. The whole thing went reverse to what I really wanted... I wanted to keep my ovaries (didn't want to have to take hormones because I was only 35 at the time - 36 now) but I wanted my cervix gone. It happened the exact opposite and I have to take those dreaded hormones everyday.

sorry to hear you had to go through all that. I have enometriosis too, at least thats what my doctor thinks. We're not doing anything about it though. (I'm on public aid and dont get the best treatments). So they just leave me hanging until something bad happens, then they will take care of me.

Endometriosis is very painful. At the time of my hysterectomy we did not know that was one of the things that I had. The main reason for my surgery was fibroid tumors in my uterus and also to remove a cyst on one of my ovaries and to do a bladder tact (geez! I sound like an old lady.. bladder tact... and I was only 35!). They did the surgery by way of old c-section scars and that is when they found the endometriosis and all of the cysts on both ovaries. No wonder I was in bed for three days during my period. I am so sorry that you have to go through the painful endometriosis. Hopefully you will be able to have something done soon. Other than the constant spotting, I feel great otherwise since my surgery. I would keep on them until the do something. Don't let them push you to the side! You have the right to feel better!

What is a blatter tact? From the sounds of it, sounds like something I might need done sometime if I cant fix this problem. After I pee, I wipe, stand up to pull my undies back up and as soon as I do, sometimes more pee comes out! Or, after I take a shower, I have to jump on the potty cause a tiny bit of pee always wants to come out. So they told me to do keagels... I've been doing them and no improvement. They tell me to try to stop the flow of urine while your peeing, like pee, stop, pee, stop,... I cant do it....
She says we may have to do a surgury.. is this what blatter tact is??
Is Endometriosis linked to C-sections? I had a C-section, and it seems like all my prblems came after it! hmmmm.... Wonder if they messed me up somehow....
Oh well, whats a girl to do...

Funny how we post all this nonsense in the club thread! LOL

It is where they push your bladder back up where it should be and they stitch it to stay in place. What was causing me to pee when I coughed, sneezed, laughed, bent over.... you name it.... was my urethra (sp?) was separated from my bladder. My bladder had fallen some (due to being pregnant twice) so she pushed it back in place, stitched it and also stitched my urethra back to my bladder. I was the same as you. I would go to the bathroom and walk out of there and sneeze or something and it was like I never went. It was terrible. Girl if I were you I would change my doctor. It doesn't sound like they have your best interest at heart.

Oh, and I forgot to comment on the c-sections. I don't know exactly if it is or not. There are several people I know that have had c-sections that have had it and had a hysterectomy because of it. I would think that it would have to be linked to c-sections somehow. Both of my children were delivered by c-section. And when I had my hysterectomy it was through the same scar. So, I am sure you can just imagine what my disgusting, jello, big, flabby tummy looks like. It will never be the same. No matter how much exercising I did it didn't help. I think it is there for life! I will be this skinny thing (hopefully, if I don't fall of the diet wagon) with a huge belly cause I can't afford a tummy tuck. I think they are about $6000  here in Alabama were I live. And that is a little more change than my pocket has in it.
