Club starting Wed Sept 7...

Thanks Christina! That is exactly what I needed to read today - I am going out to lunch w/ my mom this afternoon, probably Red Lobster. Perfect posting :)
Well today is Wed. - let's do this!
I need someone to just keep on me - asking if I worked out, did I eat healthy, did I get my daily walk, just some inspiration! I have a friend I met on heret hat I email back & forth and it's SUCH a help! So I figure I might as well join this club and get an extra boost as well :) Well Im here to help anyone if they need it! Have a happy, healthy, exercise-full day ;)
 
Starting Weight 185
Goal Weight 180
PLAN to drink at least 4 bottles of water a day
do Tae Bo EVERYDAY
and mow my lawn twice a week (1/2 at a time)! LOL
Also adding in my lunges squats and glutes
Encouragement I need is PRESSURE.... REMINDERS....(of what is and what will be)
Hopefully I can do this without stepping on the scale for 2 weeks! I will be putting that away as soon as I sign off...... This will be oh so hard for me!

myself included! i have been terible about exercising lately. but today im gonna MAKE myself get back on that treadmill and do 30 minutes! if i dont do it, i wont allow myself to show my face back on here today and thats not what i want.

Starting Weight: 200-ish (I'm afraid to go check because of my period...gah), I'll edit this post and add an exact when this is over)
Goal: 195
Plan: To Run/walk at least 10 minutes every day. To dance everyday for about 10 minutes. To drink 5 tall glasses of water a day. And to take it easy on Fat calories (which is part of my new plan...paying attention to fat calories and grams, I even cut most of the fat off of the steak we had a couple days ago!) and try to post on here more often.
For encouragment...I need a lot of it. Just remind me what Liv Tyler's body looks like and I'll go running.

Alright everyone - I hope everyone is up of their butts getting some physical activity! We can do this ! Just think that this will only pay off in the end ... nothing bad can come from this if we DO IT! Just do it! We are gonna have hot bods in the end ;) Kepp it up!

Everday my goal is to work out @ the gym or Tae Bo for 45 minutes and try to get a walk in there too.
Drink TONS of water.
Eat healthy.
 
Ok, so my plan is to do the slim fast diet just for the next 2 wks. I'm going to drink tons of water and walk on the tredmill for at least 20-25 mins a day.

I weighed myself today and it said 195, and I just don't believe that. on monday it said 192, so I don't buy a 3 pd weight gain. SO, I'll weigh myself again tommorrow and I'll report whatever it says, if i like it or not!


any word on the buddy list?
 
lol! thanks skinnysomewhere! I ended up doing a ten minute walk/run mostly a run, though, woo! and ended up doing .63 of a mile...w00t.

newbride, that's happened to me before...had you moved the scale at all?
 
well i did my 30 minutes because i wanted to come back here shame free LOL! let me tell you it was not easy with a pair of 4 yr olds standing nearby distracting me the whole time. they kept pretending they were doing it too and dancing to the music they could hear from my headset (yes, i was trying to drown them out) and in between asking me for things. my 5 yr old started kindergarten on aug 30th so he's out of the way 9-4 and when they go to preschool on the 16th i will FINALLY have 9-11:30am to do my exercise in peace!

I've never done one of these clubs before, any advice is welcome. Im going to try to eat small balanced meals throught the day, workout at the gym, and walks with my dog.

hey girls.. i totally forgot to post this morning... I'm at work now, and will post pairings when I get home... sorry! =(

My starting weight for this thingy 143...

will eat within the 1250-1400 calorie range each day...
will drink 64 oz or more water each day
will start weight-lifting 2x week
will run 3-4x a week for 30 minutes
 
I hope I am not too late to join in! I want in.... please tell me I am not too late!!! If I am not, my beginning weight is 200 lbs - goal weight for the two weeks 195. OMG :eek: I will be below 200 lbs! I can't believe this! WOO HOO!!!!!! I can do it, I know I can! The only thing is, I am having complications from my hysterectomy that I had back in Nov 04 so exercising is out of the question.... any suggestions?

Tae Bo??? That is the hardest thing to do! I bought one thinking that it shouldn't be to hard..... well I found out just how uncoordinated I am! Glad to know that someone else out there can do it! Congrats to you!!

Jennylynn TAE BO IS ROUGH on ya! LOL But It makes me feel soooo super good. I had no coordination when I very first tried it, now I know the tape by heart. Make it a little easier but not much! My legs feel it today girl! Feel the burn! Whoo hooo!

I second that, good luck to everyone! I have started my day out by eating breakfast. I had 1 whole wheat bagel with parkay spray butter (no fat, no cal) and 8 oz. of skim milk. As I said in a earlier post, exercising is out for me right now (dr's orders) so I am doing this by counting calories and drinking LOTS and LOTS of water.

How long did it take you to get coordinated with Tae Bo? I mean I felt so silly doing it. If there had been a fly on the wall they would have been laughing hysterically :( !

I just kept at it everymorning... now I can predict what move we are doing next ya know? Just like getting used to a schedule or something. And really it is fun.... OH! You know what helped alot is I have the begginers, intermidiate and basic videos. They beginers teaches you each exercise and move step by step, so you know you are doing them safe and correct.....
Dont try it if DR tells you to be resting! Hopefully you can give it another try when your feeling better.
