Climbing The Mountain....Again

This weekend I didn't really watch what I eat, but I didn't eat all that much either. Instead, I went home, stressed out about getting a new car, and then got a fantastic, white 2003 Mustang. I barely got back in time for work, but...wow. What a car. I'll get back to food updates tomorrow. I just started work, and I already can't wait to leave and get some sleep...

I've been sooo tired the last 2 days. Yesterday, I think I slept 9 hours and today I slept almost 11. I hope I was just recovering from my weekend (especially Monday). The good news is, my diet's been pretty good, even if the exercise hasn't been there. Today I'm eating more, smaller meals, just because it seemed like one of those days where you want to eat everything in sight.

Breakfast - trail mix bar, water = 140 calories
Lunch - Tuna sandwich on wheat, water ~ 350 calories (220 tuna, 130 bread? Maybe?)
Snack - trail mix bar = 140 calories
Snack - light yogurt = 100 calories
Dinner - Chicken/lettuce/mozzerella wraps (2) on wheat tortillas = ~500 calories
Snack - light yogurt = 100 calories

Total - 1330 calories

I may have some popcorn when I get home, get it up to 1500 calories. But, 1500 seems to be what I'm comfortable eating per day, so I'm not going to worry too much about sticking more calories in there. If I felt like I was starving, I'd eat more.

I'm really worried I'm not going to be able to go to the gym when school starts. I have class til 1:50 pm MWF, then work at 4. I'm going to try to go during that downtime, but I don't know if it's going to happen. I guess we'll have to see when classes start next week.

Wow, it's really been a month since I've been here?

Since school started my life has been crazy..to say the least. I'm actually putting off (more) homework to type this.

I still on the diet, but I've made some adjustments. I've found that I looove green apples. They've taken the place of so much (chocolate, energy drinks, mostly). I'm eating a red one right now wishing it were green. I've taken to eating wraps of all kinds - in place of subs, in place of pizza, in place of wings. I'm generally around 2000-2300 calories per day, but that also includes anything unhealthy I eat.

I've really learned portion control since I've started this and I think that's helped me more than anything. These are probably basic measures, but it's not anything I learned growing up. My parents were the kind that didn't like to waste.

I don't have time to exercise anymore. Hell, I barely have time to sleep. I probably walk about 2-3 miles per day between school and my job.

Overall, I haven't lost much weight, but it is going down. I don't own a scale (it's a fraternity house with 8 guys...c'mon!), but I'm down 4 belt notches and probably about 2 weeks away from buying a new belt. It's slower than I would've liked, but it's progress.

Hope anyone that reads this is doing well.
