Hello lovely world. My name is Alex and I just joined the site about 20 minutes ago. Naturally, I ended up on the diary section first, because I am somewhat nosy and I like to hear about other people's experiences.
First of all, let me break down where I am at.
Height: 5'7"

LW: 120
GW: 125 (hopefully by next December--one year from now)
Essentially, I plan to eat whole foods (mostly plant-based), to go to the gym/move my body at least 5 times a week, and to be grateful for the life I have.
I have a LONG history of eating issues (both on the restriction and the over eating side), and a very impressive list of reasons why I've ended up at this weight.
But those things do not matter in the present moment. I have the opportunity to transform my life, my health, and my body. I cannot hide behind excuses anymore or continue to live in a world of denial. It is time to be serious about what kind of life I want for myself.
It is time for me to fulfill my potential.
