Clean Diet?

Hello All,

Can someone explain to me what a "clean diet" is? I've heard so many people use this term but I'm not exactly sure what it means.

I know I need more Protein, but for the most part I think I eat pretty well, this is my meal outline for today:

Breakfast:
Two eggs (fried)
Apple
OJ
Protein Shake

Snack:
Yogurt
Plum

Lunch:
Garden salad w/turkey
Half Turkey sandwich (oat bread w/lettuce & apple)
Kaski granola bar
Protein Shake

Snack:
Apple
trail mix (nuts & fruit)
cottage cheese

Dinner:
Chicken
rice
milk

snack:
not sure yet
