Cindy's Diary

Thank you! 20 cals is NOT bad at all. I think I'll try that. :D For the rest of this week I'm going to walk Alittlebit EVERY day 1/2 a mile and then next week walk him the entire mile and go from there.

An Ace lover I see---I seriously couldn't stand the guy, although he was cute enough. I was a HUGE McPhee and Daughtry fan...I was floored when Chris got kicked off---I seriously stood there with my mouth open for about 5 minutes, McPhee soooooooo deserved to go before him.

Anyway, we'll have to chat more when the new AI auditions start up in January. My husband loves to watch those--the weirdo's are just really weird!

Keep up the good work!

Haha, thanks. yeah, I love Ace Young, Chris Daughtry too! Chris is the best, i thought for sure he'd win, but...Ace is a sweet guy though, he's great with his fans. :D I can't wait for the new season.

I add fat free or low fat sour cream to my mayo when I made salads and sandwiches.. I hate the redued fat mayo!

Ill have to try that. I'm so open for ideas because Im not creative when it comes to food. I can't cook haha.

Today food diary:
breakfast: yogurt granola bar: 140
Crystal Light: 10
Total: 150
Lunch: healthy choice pizza: 370

Dinner: Plain tuna: 275
1/3 cup of mixed vegs: 35
5 saltine crackers: 60
Total: 370

Overall total: 890 cals

and I've drank 2 cups of crystal light and 4 cups of plain water, and before I go to bed I'm going to aim towards four cups of plain water.

Oh! And I walked my dog. He's getting the hang of the leash, only he's not too social lol. But since I go around dinner time everyone is usually inside eating.

Welcome! Just remember to look at the sodium levels in the "regular" frozen dinners you are buying, some are incrediably high and that makes you retain water. Otherwise sounds like your doing great!

I always forget the sodium too.. I checked my numbers the other day  and holy shnikes I need to watch that stuff!

^^ haha, its scary when you look at it!

Today I had:

Breakfast: a piece of apple bread: 200
crystal light: 10
Lunch: Healthy choice meatloaf, mashed potatoes and veggies for 220

Dinner: Healthy choice pizza: 320
grapes: ?

Total: 750

I didn't walk :( I know I said I would, but I went to work at 9 and got off at 7 because I work in the stock room and xmas is starting to come up so we get out later. And I had to go to Petsmart before they closed so I could get my gerbels a new water bottle, they chewed through theirs last night  so they went all day without water.

Does anyone have ANY suggestions at all about working out? Like I said with the season coming up we're going to get 380 boxes + so Ill be getting out of there at about 8 at night and going in at 8 in the morning and I'll end up with one day off a week. So is there anything I can do that's not too expensive? The first two weeks of every month is the heaviest frieght and then it dies down to where you're screaming for something to do.

I feel like crap cause I didn't walk and I was on a roll. Two days is a roll for me, LOL. Any suggestions are great!

I dont feel comfortable walking at night because we had a drug bust at the end of our street so I'm a little...weary about walking by myself at night, with/without a dog. So let me know your secrets! :D

U hv workout Dvds? I just bought Billy Blanks Taebo yesterday! ENd of it, it was kicking my legs up and suddenly saw my perspiration flying out like drizzles of rain lol:p

Haha I do, I don't have a DVD player cause mine broke :(

Today:

Didn't eat breakfast because I woke up late. :D

Lunch: Healthy Choice Pizza: 370
Crystal Light: 10

Dinner: Healthy Choice Spaghetti: 200
Piece of bread: 60
grapes: ?

I have two more bottles of water to go! I better start drinking if I want to get those 8 cups in! ;) I walked today too, but this time I walked the dog that everyone thought would pass out haha, but he did good, besides the fact that he won't walk in the grass  he'll only walk on the pavement, not safe.

Oh!! And I weighed myself! It's only been four days, and I was going to wait a week, but the scale was sitting there SCREAMING my name...and I lost two pounds! I'm soooo happy! Now that I know it's humanly possible LOL I'm going to be working a lot harder at it. :D

Oh, I hate being so picky, with all the congratulations flying around, but I'm on a roll tonight, so I might as well go with it...

By my guestimate, you're looking at 640 calories plus the grapes?
Is this normal for you? I just read back through your diary and it seems like you've had several very low calorie days.

IMO, you really need to check out or if you haven't already - I saw they've already been posted to your diary.

Either site would help, I use Sparkpeople, and it will give you a "range" of calories and nutrients to try and reach a day.

By eating too few calories, your body will go into starvation mode and you will plateau. Your body needs a certain amount of fuel, just for your internal organs - if you're not getting enough, your body will not burn calories efficiently and will turn to burning muscle NOT fat.

Please take time to check out those sites and learn more about what your body needs. It seems very ironic that we need to eat in order to continue to lose weight in a healthy manner.

Thanks for all the congrats :D
I've heard that before about the low amount of calories and I'll check it out. That last one is as low as I've been on my entire diet, probably plus before when I started many years ago.
The only reason why I was trying to stay below 900 is because I went to the doctor when I was 15 and he told me that I needed to stay anywhere between 900-1000 cals a day because I was taking in too many. I'll check out the site though I don't want to starve myself. And I don't want anyone to think that I am intentionly, so thanks for bringing that to my attention. :)

too few? i dun hv that problem. I always go over lol:p

anyway it'll require effort and determination on yr part. u'll need adjustment for it.... hope to see better meals ya!:)

Yeah, it is so much easier to take in fewer calories then more. *sigh* I'm trying not to go over because I really want to lose weight, and I guess I looked at it as 800 instead of 900 isn't that bad. I mean, I'm not hungry, and if I am I do eat a small something like carrots, so I guess I just wasn't worried about how low the calorie intake was because I was never really 'hungry'.
1200-1500 is how much they want me to do and that just seems like so much to me. I don't know. I guess I'll try, but I really want to lose weight and that just sounds so high. Then again, I don't have a degree so...haha, I'll try to take it in today.
The only problem is that we have barely any health food, only the stuff I bought, the rest is crap food, seriously, donuts, chef boy arde *sp?* pizza, cause they're not on a diet, so its hard to take in 1000 calories when I don't have that much of a selection. I don't want to eat all my health food in one day! :D I just need a nutritionist haha.

Ok, today I did:

Breakfast: garnola/yogurt bar: 140

Lunch: healthy choice pizza 320

Dinner: *we went out to dinner so I tried to order as healthy as I could*
a grilled chicken breast with mushrooms, left off the cheese sauce and bacon: 231
broccoli: 78
mashed potatoes *there was more than a serving...way more, but I only ate half of them*: 233  man with no gravy too! haha, but they were real and they had spices and butter and milk in it, so..whew.

Total: 1003

And so far I've had two bottles of water, so I need to drink two more, I'm on my third. And I did my daily walking. :D

I know that that dinner was way over four hundred, so that had to bring me to the calorie mark. I got the numbers from a calorie counting website Nutritiondata.com.
