Cindy's Diary

The point is to learn how to deal with the foods, not necessarily to avoid them. I'd say you're doing well.

Yeah I'm trying here. I'm still new at this, before I had my step mom to make and prepare my food for me, I'm pretty much on my own with this and I need a diet for dummies book or something :D

I know that feeling - I'm the one that cooks at my house and some days I don't even know where to start! But I figure I can eat anything as long as it fits into my calories and covers the major food groups. I guess I have the upper hand, if I'm having a bad food day I can just put everyone on celery, carrots & tap water.. lol.

OOOOO Another South Carolina girl! YAY! rofl

It sounds like you're doing great & down 2 lbs already? Good going! WOO! heh
I think I would die if I only ate 1k calories a day :p heh

haha, yep good ol' south carolina :D I'm trying to go over on the calorie intake :)

oh yuck  I'm sure they would LOVE that LOL

Remember, any number of calories below what you need every day is good for weight loss. For example, according to various sites, I need about 1500 for maintenance, so eating 1300 is still lower, right? Plus I exercise.

I checked out yours, and not knowing your height or age (offhand), I entered in an average one, and it told me about 1600 cal. That's for just basic living, not including exercise. So even if you ate about 1200-1300, your still burning enough a week to lose a pound!

I went to sparkspeople, I think that was the one and it said 1200-1300. I'm short so haha. 5'2 and 19. I worked today from 9 am to 7 pm so I don't really have the time to eat, its so hectic back there.
