You'll perform better all around, which will help with all of your fitness goals. Definitely worth it.

if you quit smoking, more girls will like you or guys (if your a female), you will breathe better, look better, feel better, workout better, have clean and good breath, and feel good on the inside and outside. It's defiantly worth it to quit smoking. I would never date a smoker.

Buy patches to help you quit or just run off the cravings (if that actually works).

Just out of curiosity I heard somewhere cigarettes make you skinnier.I'm probably talking bollocks but I was wondering if there was any truth in the matter.
For the record, cigarettes make you stink.I went out with a girl who was a passive smoker and even then the smell was awful.Cigarettes stain your teeth and make you reek, shorten your lifespan and are dangerously addictive.Just want to add in my two cents:D

hell no. haven't you noticed how many morbidly obese people smoke? they tend to smoke more in my experience.

you likely read something based on the common issue of gaining weight when you quit smoking. that's due to the fact food tastes and smells better since the smoke isn't killing off those senses, and satisfy the habit of putting something in your mouth since the cigarette is gone.

Me, I used altoids instead of food, when i gave up smoking.

CCR... He meant "mass"... I'm trying to quit...so far... gum and mints and such are helping me... I might smoke a cigarette if I'm totally stressed out but after that one I'm done... (most the time)

i agree with malkore lots of obese people smoke.I dont believe cigarettes suppress appetite.Lots of smokers may also take on board much more salt due to the fact that the food tastes very bland. That was the case with me until i started lifting and cut it out .

Yup, Malkore is right about that obese thing.

At this restaurant I used to waitress at there was this one morbidly obese (she could barely walk) lady that came in almost everyday to stuff herself stupid. She also chained smoked like crazy.

Overeating and smoking are the same thing - an addiction.
