Christmas shove

Ok so its what...12 weeks to christmas? :banghead:

Have set myself the weight loss goal of 1 stone (6 kg) and the fittness goal of being able to run 30 mins straight without stopping (regardless how how much of a beetroot I resemble!!)

On the weight front, current measurements: 35-31-36 (conjurs up some wierd images in my head when I write it like that!!) am aiming to get them to 34-29/30-35 in 12 weeks I guess.

On the fittness front, starting the couch to 5km running plan tonight (and am determined to do so no matter what the weather!!...she says....!) I am relatively fit already due to the fact I walk everywhere but I think that I do need to up the anty a bit!

So aye, weight loss will be recorded one a week and inch loss will prob be every two weeks. Anyone else out there starting running?
 
Hey FGL

I just re-started the C25K I'm starting at Week 5 because I've been doing a bit of jogging anyways. It's a really good way to get running. You can download a good podcast too that has music and prompts of when to start and stop running.

I will admit I did think about skipping a couple of weeks, however I know what I'm like...I tend to run before I can crawl and then get angry with myself and then quit. So i'm being strict with myself.

How are you getting on with your running?
