OKay... it's time to try AGAIN.....

I am the most UNhealthy I have ever been in my life. I am going through so many medical problems and have GAINED alot of weight... To sum it up, I am miserable... I am so weak, it hurts to walk, stand, sit.... I only feel comfortable laying down... :cry: I have an appointment set up with a Hematologist, (elevated levels in certain blood tests) last year I had DVT and PE. I am supposed to be scheduling an operation to have my gall bladder removed (loaded with gall stones) but have not called the surgeon yet, and am supposed to set up an appointment with a diatician (doc wants me to join Curves also, need money for that). Oh, come to think of it, I never went for my yearly check up so I guess I should be calling my OBGYN also... UGH.....

When I found this forum a few years back, it helped me alot. Helped me lose weight and gain confidence, which is exactly what I need right now. :(

When I left this forum it was on a bad note with a few people. :argue: I think I was going through some things that are really unexplainable... maybe I was so pissed at myself I decded to take it out on others. I dunno.. But I apologize. :eek:

Okay, Here we go....
Currant Weight = 210 lbs
Goal Weight = 150 lbs (to start)

Mini Goal = 180
Altimate Goal = 135


Hopefully I will keep up with this diary cause I think I will only benefit from it..
Off to breakfast now...

I wasn't a member here last time you were but welcome back. I am very very sorry about all of your medical problems. I hope this forum can help you again like it did in the past. I have found it to be very helpful so far.

Thanks guys, for the warm welcome back..

Today my daughter and I set up an inflatable pool and filled it with water. We spent 4 hours in the sun. It was alot of fun. And when I was tired of freezing in the little pool, I layed out on my towel while she continued to swim. Free and easy tanning is always a plus!
Earlier today, I was looking at everyone's before and after pics, it inspired me to do the same. This would also help me to stick with it. So 4 pictures later and I am devistated, ready to die actually.:eek2: And I wonder why my health has hit the fan! Once I get enough courage, or once I lose 20 lbs, I will post the pics... Maybe every 10 pounds I will do it... That should be inspiring..
My daughter and I are off to the library now... I will begin posting my food intake and excercise tomorrow... I figure one step at a time.

Okay. I started off today on a good note, but before I knew it my will power went dead... Totally sucks..

Breakfast: 1 cup coffee w/cream and sugar
1 yougurt
1 banana
8 cinnamon teddy grahms (daughter offered to share with me)

Snack: 1 cup sliced carrots
1 bottle water

Lunch: (here's where I failed)
Fiery Habanero Doritos (get this, half the bag!):eek:
2 bottles of water

Dinner: ( I am planning on chicken breasts and veggies)

late snack (I am planning on having a fresh, juicy peach)

Oh why did I eat the damn doritos? :confused:

Hello MJB! (It's been so long sonce I've called you that!) lol

Okay, so the weekend went good. We spent most of the weekend outside. I mowed the lawn on Saturday and Sunday. And did alot around the yard like pull weeds and stuff. Also did alot with my daughter. It was good.

My food intake was pretty darn good too. I wish I would have wrote it all down.. But I will try to remember....

Saturday we skipped breakfast. A friend dropped by and the guys wanted Taco Bell so I got a chicken taco salad (which I didnt finish). And later we went to my Uncles house to visit some relatives, they BBQ'd, I had a salad (light dressing, small amot) and 1/4 of a burger, no bun.. Also had 2 Caronoa's with lime, 2 Slippery Nipples, and a Mixed drink.
Sunday I made breakfast for everyone.. I had a 2 egg omlet with chopped tomatoes. (it was actually lunchtime, we slept in... felt good!) After a long day of work outside, the guys wanted to rent a movie and pick up dinner.. Once again I got a Salad (no dressing!!!!!) and ate some breaded mushrooms... I drank alot of water all weekend.. I could have passed on the mushrooms... should of...

And now it's Monday..

Breakfast I had Golden Grams and a cup of coffee..

Lunch I will have Salad

Dinner (I dunno yet)

I have to go to the store today. I will pick up a BIG bag of lemons. Over the weekend I sliced Lemons and simply added them to my bottles of water. It was super YUM and pleasant to drink. Plus I think I heard something about lemons helping to lose weight but I do not know how true this is...
 
Well done, it looks like you had a good weekend and kept your eating under control.
 
2007 = most boring July 4th EVER! (for me anyway)

Okay, Tuesday Phil, Allyson and I went to the park (5 min from home) to watch the fireworks. We survived the rain but getting home took us 50 MIN cause the whole town decided to park in the high school parking lot. Live and learn. Then we visited my family on Wednesday. Bro and I went shopping. Phil cooked on the grill. left early cause everyone had work the next day and we had over an hour drive.. Saw lots of fireworks from every direction on the highway..

I've got to try to make it on here at least once a day.. I can not remember the things I have eaten throughout the past few days but I must say I am mighty proud that I have not lost control... Here's what I remember.....

Tuesday at dinner, put out a plate of broccolli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers to eat with Turkey Burgers amde on Forman Grill..

Wednesday
B= skipped
L= apples and grapes
D= Turkey Brat
snacked on wheat thins, chips and salsa
drank tea and water

Yesterday
B= cereal w/ skim milk
coffee w/ cream
s= yougurt with granola
bottle of water
l= one slice wheat bread w/ jelly
cup of sliced strawberries
s= watermelon
d= salad w/ chicken breast

I did not drink enough water for the day though.
I LOVED the scale Wednesday morning... not loving it right now...
Weird how it moves all around the place like that.

I need to start the excercising... I still want to improve eating habits.
Feeling VERY hungry right now. waiting for daughter to wake up so we can have breakfast.
thats it for now, over and out...

Rewrite that statement to I WILL start exercising... make a plan and do it... and like the eating, a new habit will be formed over time.. it's starting that's the hard part :D

I still want to improve eating habits.
that comes over time, just go day by day and meal by meal and new habits get formed...
 
Hi there Christina! I was just reading over your food and got a bit concerned because on some days it looks like you're eating way less than 1000 calories. Maybe I'm miscalculating as I don't know some of the quantities. I'm just asking you to think about not being too restrictive with yourself and no skipping meals. It is simply not the way to get weight off. If I gave some wrong or unsolicited advice, then I do apologize in advance :).

I have not been counting calories so you may be right. I forgot all about counting cals... Okay, I will be doing that. I know I really shouldn't skip meals, if I skip Breakfast it's cause we slept in so I wait till lunch time to eat.
I want to try to eat 1200 cals a day... I think that would be suitable to lose weight.... right? I totally appreciate all comments, it's all help that is much needed here!

l= salad (greens, broccolli, cauliflower), bottle water

I washed ALL my windows! 28 windows-top,bottom, inside and out... Wow it's beautiful outdside! (j/k my windows weren't that bad!!) :rolleyes:

Glad to hear it hun, you have no idea!!!!! Lets really support each other and get this freakin weight off once and for all, ok!?!?
