Hows the diet change going? I hope a FiberOne bar isn't all you've had today!

haha no definitely not... check back and read again.. it is updated! The diet change is going ok.. its not as hard as I thought... I have cut down to about 1700 calories a day and upped the exercise so that should cut it..HOPEFULLY!

That should do it for sure! I realized lately that I'm not eating enough! I'm going to start adding in a few more calories a day.

I had that problem at first... i was eating about 900-1000 calories a day and i did lose weight really fast.. but i felt really tired and gained it all back right away.. i think i also was losing mainly muscle and not fat..we need to get into a good healthy pattern so we can stick to this forever! how is your knee doing??

So i feel pretty good today... a little sore but hopefully my body starts adjusting to working out more. My neighbor that I usually go to 6am spin with was out of town last night so I didnt go today.. We are going to be moving stuff all day at work.. furniture and boxes but if im not dead tired I might try to get to the gym too for some circuit training and do some pilates at home.. I am so glad it's Friday! I have to clean my house tonight because my boss is coming over tomorrow... We have our first tennis match in the morning at 10! Wish me luck :) I signed us up for a high level league so we will see how it goes..haha I wanted some competition

Wakeup: 8am

Breakfast:
Fiber One Bar (140 calories)

Lunch:
ham & cheese croissant W/ chips (600 calories)

Snack:
M&M's (180 calories)
goldfish crackers (150 calories)

Workout: 1 hour of circuit training

It's good. In the process of rehabing it now. I wear a compression sleeve on it when I play basketball or hit up the elliptical, that helps. Droping some more pounds should help too.

yeah.. they say that extra weight is one of the major causes of knee problems.. take it easy and good luck with the knee!

I read that every pound you loose is four pounds of pressure off your knees. That means my knees are feeling about 240lbs lighter... haha.
 
ok so i am worn out... have been working my butt off this week and today.. when i usually get to sleep in... i had to wake up at 7. i had to completely clean my house because my boss was coming over for tennis.. then after i spent an hour cleaning as fast as i could.. i had to go out to the tennis court with my tiny house broom and sweep off the entire tennis court for an hour in the sun.. let me tell you.. this is A LOT harder than it sounds... an entire tennis court with a tiny broom thats covered in leaves that are wet and acorns.. it sucked because i got blisters on my hands before the game so it hurt to hold my racqet ! then we played for 1.5 hrs and lost 6-4, 6-0... for some reason i could not get my serves in today and my partner missed a lot of volleys.. we did not play well.. it was our first time though so we can only get better... Anyways..i have been working for 4 hours straight and I am dead...

clean house and sweep tennis court (2 hours)
Tennis match (1.5 hours)

sweet tea

Dang girl! You worked that tiny broom like nobody's business!

I too just cleaned the house, even had to detail the vacuum, and change the bag, so it would pick up better.

I'm beat, but not as beat as you! You got some mean cardio in today. Great job! I hope your hands get to rest the rest of the day.

yeah.. that was really tough! our next match will have to be somewhere else bc i am never doing that again! i probably burned a ton of calories today but i made up for it by eating mcdonalds for dinner lol.. i have to eat it at least once a week..

Ok.. so i have some nasty blisters on my hands from sweeping so much on Saturday! OUCH... I have been looking for the Wii Fit game since they came out a few months ago and they are always sold out everywhere! Like impossible to find.. so yesterday I went to get a birthday present for someone and they had one left in the shelf! I didn't really have the money for it but i knew id never be able to find it for like another year so i just got it anyways...Anyways.. the thing is so fascinating! i had so much fun and was working so hard and didn't even realize it til an hour and a half went by and i was sore and sweating up a storm! There are all kinds of different yoga moves and poses, strength moves like planks, lunges and pushups, running, step aerobics, balance activities, hula hoop etc...If I do this on top of my normal workout I will be Fit for sure! And this thing knows everything.. I created a character and my friend got on to play and it was like oh no.... you have gained a lot of weight since the last time you were here haha bc it thought it was me.. it keeps track of everything.. Anyways I will stop ranting just wanted everyone to know how COOL IT IS! :rant:

unfortunately today i did the 3 large meal route instead of several small meals.. AND they weren't health.. I was still within my calories but I was BAD

I've been interested in the Wii Fit since I heard about it, but I don't have Wii, I'd have to buy the system and the Fit. Do you have to buy Wii Fit games, too, or does it come with all the different games?

Wii Fit is the name of the game.. it comes with a balance board which is the main component.. You will need that to play any games that are compatible.. The Wii fit game that comes with the board is balance, strength, aerobics, & yoga exercises and it set me back about $100... since they came out with the Wii fit board.. new games have been developed that use it.. but Wii fit is the actual exercise game which I am talknig about! It is a blast..

Wow, I've never heard of this. How cool. So did you buy it for yourself or for the birthday gift? Sounds like a fun workout!!
 
Way cool. I just looked at the Yoga moves and those are the moves I do in Bikram yoga on Thursday nights. wow, seems like a great game and weight loss tool!! Do you find you need a lot of room in front of the TV in order to do the moves full out?
