Great job on the 6am spinning class. I've always wanted to try spinning but I have a bad right knee...somehow the running doesn't aggravate it but the cycling does. Well that is going to change cuz I plan on doing a mini triathalon next year so I need to strengthen my knees like you are doing now. Kudos to you!!

I much prefer early morning workouts...that way its done and out of the way and I actually eat better because I don't want to sabotage all the hard work I have already done. :) Keep going!!
 
I always get a mcdonalds hangover! I eat until I'm sick... Anytime I am down in the dumps all I want is some good McD's fries!!

Yeah I know what you mean about them leaving the food off!!! Thats a good thing bc you KNOW you would have eaten them if you would have gotten them!!

Haha.. it was a 5 minute walk not a 5 mile walk to work! i would die if i had to make that 4 times in one day!!

LMAO! 5 minute walk? What's that, one french fry? hehe

I keep getting conned into McD's when I babysit my nephew. I'm going to have to get myself some food first before I take him for a happy meal, so I dont have any excuse.

You're right, if they had put the onion rings in my food the other day, they would have been history!! Straight to my hips. LOL Went to BK, their fries stay crispier longer. LOL!! :drool5:
 
Oh my god! Mcd fries were the best :( I went cold turkey on em two and a half years ago, and man, sometimes when I drive by, I think, eh, one box won't hurt... BUT if I do it, I'm screwed, lol. I will eat there every day again, and that would not be pretty. Have you tried sweet potato fries? I've got no idea how to cook, but I can ACTUALLY make these, and they are frickin tasty!
 
sooooo.... I am so sore that I can barely move... this body works class that I take on Saturday mornings takes me out of commission for the rest of the week! My hamstrings feel like I pulled both of them for the second week in a row after taking the class.. I dont know if I need to keep going to make them stronger or just try something else... It is BAD! I couldnt move at all yesterday bc i was so sore.... no exercise points for me :( I am going to try to work through the soreness today but no weights for sure.. Just some cardio!

Breakfast: Fiber One Bar (140 calories)

Snack: Cheese bagel (320 calories)

Lunch: Baked Potato Plain (250 calories)

Snack: Goldfish crackers (300 calories)

Dinner: Lean Cuisine Mac and Cheese (290 calories)

If you keep going you won't get as sore. Eventually your muscles build and get used to that type of training.
 
OK... so I am still a little sore but I think I am ready to get back to the gym tonight! Last night I slept with this Icy Hot Wrap on my leg and today it is not as stiff... I am not walking like a peg leg anymore lol..

Even though I have been working pretty hard in this challenge.. last night I realized it wasn't enough.. I have been doing some sort of exercise everyday and watching my calorie intake but it doesnt seem to be working.. After seeing a few of you drop 4-5 lbs a week I guess I need to step it up so I can at least lose 1 lb?!!? I am gong to have to work out harder and longer and watch my food EVEN closer!

Wakeup: 8am

Breakfast: 1 bowl cereal (220 calories)
low fat yogurt (180 calories)

Lunch: ham and cheese sandwich on wheat (300 calories)
5 strawberries (100 calories)
4 oreos (280 calories) i didnt know it was that many til afterwards... my god!

Snack: applesauce (100 calories)
string cheese (80 calories)

Dinner: herb rice (400 calories)
turkey sausage (150 calories)

Snack: fruit snacks (80 calories)

Don't worry girl, you've been doing great, the pounds gotta budge sooner or later.

I might hit you all up a day early in vegas.

You all are going to have to be really good though, Official weigh in for the challenge is on Friday!! I think technically it is suppose to be Saturday, but I think we should do it Friday so we can all go out and party (and eat some carbs if we want)!

Perhaps If I do get in thursday, we can all weigh in first thing Friday morning and go to breakfast. hmmmm....

What do you think about when we should weigh in??
